Before they started their game, Lillian set you on your nightstand and then took a seat on your bed along with Jen.

"Game's fairly simple, best 3 out of 5 on rock, paper, scissors" With such simplicity Lillian described the game that would decide your fate. Jen nodded and the two began playing with you watching apprehensively, silently praying for Jen to win, your panic growing as she ended up losing the first two rounds, as if Destiny itself decided to spite you.

"This isn't over, you haven't won yet" Jen said with a surprising amount of confidence. Could it be backed by something or was it just a bluff? She sounded and looked pretty convinced herself. Your eyes widened as she won the following 2 rounds, almost completely turning the situation around and leaving their scores tied, the last match would truly be the final one to decide your fate.

"Welp, this got interesting. Last one, winner takes all!" Lillian smiled herself, sounding just as confident in her impending victory. Your nervousness spiked and went through the roof, you were no nail biter but at that moment you understood why some people were.

"I won!" Jen's excited scream snapped you out of your inner mental breakdown and you saw their hands: Lillian had switched from rock to scissors but Jen saw through it and changed her previous choice of paper to rock to counter it, earning the third and final point.

Whomever was watching up there in Heaven, you knew you owed them a big one.
