Shouldn't touch ancient family heirlooms
You recalled Jen mentioning a few times that despite having been raised in Mexico, she was of Nordic origin, and she even joked that her Viking heritage is what made her strong. You had to admit that imagining her as a Viking warrior or a Valkyrie was both quite badass and potentially sexy. She certainly had the graceful moves to match an elf, in your opinion. Her mother, Lynn, looked much more the Nordic part, her flowing blonde hair and icy blue eyes were gave her even more of a Valkyrie look.

You enjoyed history, and found the artifacts at her home interesting, which is why you were happy to listen to her as she told you some things about their ancestors, and what these artifacts were for, and how they were made. Liking especially ancient weapons and armor, you couldn't help but notice an ancient spear with intricate runes carved on it. On a previous visit, Lynn had told you its story: A spear blessed by the gods, empowered by runes that imbued the weapon with their power. According to oral tradition, the warriors from her bloodline never lost a single battle as long as they wielded that spear, and even during peace, it was said the spear would bless the household it was kept at, preventing famine and lessening disease.

When you asked her if they still believed that, she chuckled and said "Who knows?" but then said they keep it as a memento because it's part of who they are, and their roots. You imagined Jen would look pretty awesome as a warrior with it. Back to the present, something about the spear drew you. Being a prized family possession, you wouldn't think about picking it up, but you felt curious and just wanted to touch it, the wooden carvings or the beautifully ornamented spear tip, also with engraved runes and other symbols. You reached for the wooden shaft and gently touched it, feeling the ancient carvings in your fingers. You got goosebumps, as if you could feel some kind of power coming from it, but it was probably just your excitement instead.

Then, you slid your finger across the spear until you reached the tip. It looked sharp enough, and you weren't about to cut yourself for curiosity's sake, but still touched it on its flat side, feeling also the symbols that were engraved on the metallic piece centuries ago. Then, the strangest thing happened. There was a light humming noise as the runes began lightning up with supernatural blue glow. Your eyes widened. Was this weapon truly blessed by the Viking gods? Or was it an alien thing, like those crazy people on tv with funny looking hair claimed?

You instantly withdrew your hand, worried about how you were going to explain this one, as the blue glow intensified more and more. You gulped and glanced at the kitchen, Lynn still hadn't come back.
'Dammit! How do I turn this off?!' You thought in panic, and remembering what you did, tried the same motion, drawing your finger across the runes in the wooden shaft before touching the ones engraved on the tip's flat side. Nothing. You tried again, with the same result. You wondered if you should just book it, but you knew that'd be rude, Lynn would still know you did something and you'd end up making yourself look even guiltier.

"Come on! Turn off!" You muttered in frustration as you tried tapping the runes as if they were buttons, but they kept on glowing, and it sounded like it was charging up, a high pitched noise whose volume gradually increased, not unlike those from the defibrillators, but more echoing and metallic. Suddenly, there was a massive flash of pale bluish light that blinded you, and that was the last thing you knew, as you got knocked out...

[Note: Choice 2 is a route for aliens or something else, but futuristic, it could be time travel, interdimensional travel, etc. As for Choice 3, you can choose the size and place, but it should be in the same house. It could be on someone's person. Also, if not stated, the default size would be 1/10th inch]
