The shock that jolted through Jay wasn't just a static zap—it was a full-body seizure. A scream caught in his throat, a high, panicked squeal that sounded nothing like him. The world warped, the living room spinning into a kaleidoscope of colors as the very air around him shimmered like a heat haze off asphalt. His body felt like it was being pulled apart, stretched and squeezed and contorted into something new. His beer bottle clattered to the floor, forgotten.

The roar of the crowd on the TV was a distant echo, drowned out by a ringing in his ears. His solid, mid-40s dad bod was melting away, his beer gut dissolving into a flat, toned stomach. The coarse hairs on his arms and legs vanished, replaced by a silky smoothness that felt alien and strange. His chest, which had been a solid, hairy slab, suddenly felt heavy and tender. Two massive, round forms were pushing out from his pectoral muscles, growing at an alarming rate, straining the fabric of his t-shirt.

He could feel the weight of them, a pendulous, unfamiliar heft that made him gasp. They were huge, a pair of perfect, perky globes that seemed to have a life of their own. His hips, once narrow and straight, were flaring out, a feminine curve forming where there had been none before. His thighs, once thick with old-man muscle and a little extra padding, were slimming and lengthening, becoming lean and powerful. His waist cinched in, and his shoulders narrowed, leaving him feeling delicate and fragile. A sudden tightness in his crotch made him wince, and he realized with dawning horror that his manhood had completely retracted, leaving a new, gaping warmth in its place.

His face, too, was transforming. The square jaw softened into a heart-shaped curve, his sandy brown hair turning a dazzling platinum blonde, cascading down his back in a silken waterfall. His bushy eyebrows thinned and arched, and his eyes, which had been a plain hazel, deepened into a mesmerizing jade green. Freckles, a light dusting he hadn’t had since he was a kid, appeared across the bridge of his nose. His lips, once a thin line, plumped into a full, lush pout.

The transformation was over as quickly as it had begun, and Jay—now a she—sat on the couch in a state of stunned silence. She opened her eyes to a world that looked the same, but felt entirely, impossibly different. She was wearing what was left of her old shirt—a tattered, ripped piece of fabric stretched to its absolute breaking point over her new, enormous breasts. The rest of her was just a vision of smooth, tan skin.

Across the couch, his son, Kyle, was staring at her, his jaw on the floor. His eyes, wide as saucers, traveled from her face, down her neck, and straight to her chest, which was heaving with every ragged breath she took. The ripped t-shirt provided a tantalizing glimpse of her cleavage, a deep, inviting chasm between her new twin mounds.

"Dad?" Kyle's voice was a whisper, a mix of disbelief and burgeoning curiosity. "What… what happened?"

Jay tried to speak, but only a breathy, feminine alto came out. "I… I don't know," she rasped, her voice sounding foreign in her own ears.

Kyle's eyes were fixed on her chest. A blush crept up his neck, and he swallowed hard. "Dude," he breathed, a genuine, awestruck grin spreading across his face. "You’re… you’re a girl."

The reality of the situation hit Jay like a punch to the gut. She scrambled to her feet, her new, long legs feeling wobbly and unsure. She stumbled toward the hallway mirror. Her hips swayed with each step, a motion she had never experienced before.

In the mirror, she saw her. The woman from the app’s preview. The Brazilian Bikini Model. The platinum blonde hair, the jade green eyes, the high cheekbones and freckles. Her new breasts, a pair of perfect DD-cups, were pushing against her ripped t-shirt, giving her a silhouette she didn't recognize. She slapped a hand over her mouth.

"Dad, is that… really you?" Kyle's voice was right behind her, a new note of awe and fascination in it.

She spun around, her face a mask of panic. "Kyle, don't just stand there! Get me a robe or a blanket or something!"

Kyle, however, didn't move. He was just staring, his gaze dropping from her face to her new body again and again. His eyes lingered on the generous curve of her hips, the long, toned legs, the taut skin of her stomach. Then, to her horror, his hand, his teenage-boy hand, reached out.

"Kyle, no!" she shrieked, batting his hand away. "What are you doing?!"

"I just…" he stammered, his cheeks flushing crimson. "I just wanted to see if they were real."

Jay's face hardened. "Kyle, that's your dad you're talking about! Have some respect!" she snapped, her voice cracking with emotion.

He flinched back, a look of hurt on his face. "Sorry," he mumbled, his voice small. "It’s just… it’s a lot to take in." He finally turned and went to the closet, grabbing her old bathrobe—a plush, fluffy thing that felt soft and alien against her new, sensitive skin. She wrapped it around herself, the thick terry cloth hiding her new curves from her son's eyes, but doing nothing to hide them from her own.

She sighed, a long, weary exhalation that felt more like a shudder. This was a nightmare. She wrapped the robe tighter around herself and sat back on the couch. Her new body felt light and limber.
