Tom finally found them by the pool.

“Diego” was half-submerged in the water, showing off his bronzed torso and flexing for a floating GoPro. “Taylor” was sunbathing on a lounge chair, her toned legs crossed, sipping from a coconut with a hot pink straw. They both looked stupidly relaxed.

Tom stomped over, struggling to keep his balance in Tiffany’s strappy wedge sandals. The bikini top bounced with every step, reminding him with painful clarity that he now had boobs. Real ones. Sensitive, annoying ones.

“Guys,” he snapped, voice too breathy and high-pitched. “This is a disaster.”

Zach turned, blinking behind Diego’s perfect jawline. “Tom?”

Jordan sat up, bikini shifting around his new curves. He looked down at Tom and immediately burst into laughter. “Oh shit, you’re Tiffany.”

Tom threw up his arms. “I told you I was aiming for Max. But someone cannonballed into the frame and now I’m—” he looked down in disgust, adjusting the top again—“this bimbo barbie.”

Jordan grinned, clearly having the time of his life. “You say that like it’s a bad thing. You look amazing. Like, weirdly amazing.”

“Jordan, I have no idea how to sit without flashing someone. My legs feel like smooth stilts. I can feel the breeze on my boobs.”

Zach swam over, grinning. “You’re pulling it off, man. I mean, Tiffany was already kinda ditzy, but you just stormed out here like a full meltdown was loading. It’s perfect.”

Tom scowled and plopped down on the lounge chair. “Everything jiggles. My hips move when I walk. I almost cried during a drink commercial.”

Jordan stretched luxuriously, his skin glistening with tanning oil. “I dunno, I kind of get it now. Like, it’s weird, yeah, but also kind of fun? These legs go forever. I can touch my toes without even trying.”

“You were touching your toes before?” Tom muttered.

“Different context,” Jordan said with a sly smile.

Tom groaned and pulled his knees up—immediately realizing his bikini bottom was barely covering anything. “Ugh. Why is this thing so tight? I feel like if I sneeze, something’s going to pop out.”

Zach hauled himself out of the pool, dripping wet and glowing like a cologne ad. “I’m just saying, I get why Diego acts like such a tool. When you look like this, it’s hard not to believe you’re God’s gift to pool parties.”

Tom looked over and rolled his eyes. “You’re flexing at your own reflection again.”

“Can’t help it. These abs are magnetic.”

Jordan poked his own chest experimentally. “Also? Boobs are heavy. Like no one ever talks about that. I stood up too fast and almost fell over.”

“Yeah, welcome to my life,” Tom said, deadpan.

Jordan gave him a playful nudge. “You’ve got good posture for someone who hates being hot.”

“I don’t hate being hot. I hate being trapped in this ridiculous hourglass Barbie body with no manual and a full camera crew waiting for me to slip up.”

At that moment, a production assistant walked by and handed them all mimosas. “Five minutes ‘til the next villa scene, folks. Just hang out, be yourselves. You’re gold on camera.”

Tom took the mimosa but didn’t drink. “Be ourselves? I don’t even know who I am right now.”

Zach clinked his glass to Tom’s. “You’re Tiffany, bro. Now relax. Or at least try to look hot while panicking.”

Jordan raised her drink too, smiling. “To new bodies and poor life choices.”

Tom sighed and lifted his mimosa.

“To Swaptyx,” he muttered.

They drank.

Somewhere, a producer whispered, “Now this is good television.”
