“Let’s go clothes shopping!” Juli said, starting her stride to the clothing store with Kim following closely. Jim couldn’t catch a break. Each step squashed him ever so flatter to Juli’s sole, and the heat was rising fast. Jim had been trapped like this a couple times in his life, stuck to the bottom of some girl’s foot in her shoe, but it never got any easier each time it happened.
The girls shopped around for a while and tried on dozens of outfits, prolonging Jim’s torture. Every time Juli came out of the dressing room, she would spin around on one foot, coincidentally the foot Jim was under. To his surprise, being stuck to the bottom of Juli’s foot for so long, he started to get used to it. Though still torture, Jim knew he could make it through the day. The girls were having so much fun, they forgot they were on break.
“Oh shit, Juli,” Kim said, “Break’s almost over! We gotta get back.” Juli concurred and the two jogged to Kim’s car, reminding Jim what pain felt like.
At the waterpark, Melissa scolded Kim and Juli for being late and sent them to change. Jim looked forward to being out of Juli’s shoe, but his prison was only replaced by her flip flops. At least he could breathe a bit better now. Being back in her flip flops, Juli was reminded of the squelching sound under her right foot as she shifted her weight. She thought this was strange, as there was no squelching sound under her left foot. Does Juli check it out?
