A Tiny Child Chapter 4
The local Board of Education forbids Tinies and Normals from working together in Chemistry for fairly obvious safety reasons, and requires that each is supervised (during labs) by teachers of their own size. It's precautionary stuff.

Your school likes to exploit loopholes, however, damn-all be the consequences, because it is somewhat underfunded and can't afford to hire any more teachers. Thus, you take chemistry with a class composed entirely of normals, because technically the law only forbids unequals doing Laboratories together. While "officially" you are banned from doing any labs with the teacher or the other students, Mrs. Greene allows you to prepare with some other student, and also lets you watch your partner perform the experiment.

So, you walk into class. It seems most of your classmates (All women. Of course. Just gotta mention that.) have already arrived, though thankfully the teacher hasn't. So you're not late, technically. You climb up to the teacher's desk and await Mrs. Greene's arrival, looking over the Unit Calendar she has so thoughtfully written up on the whiteboard behind you for all the class to see.

The door to the room opens. You look up and see...
