Though her grip had slackened for a moment, Talia recovered quickly, bringing you back to her chest as she tried to comfort you. “Hunter, what’s wrong? Calm down please. You’re safe here.” You didn’t listen, just kept pulling until an arm slipped free and you entertained a small hope of freedom. Then Emily stepped in to help her friend, a shadow flashing over your vision the only warning you got before the two chests collided, pressing together and trapping you between the firm masses, only your head sticking out to stare up in defiance. With your chest squished and mangled you were unable to scream out in protest as the two nurses cooed above you, gazes kind but determined.
Drawn by the commotion, several of the waiting nurses started to approach, their eyes trained solely on your tiny form betwixt their colleague’s assets with beneficent smiles driving icy daggers of fear into your heart. An ochre-skinned girl of unclear ethnicity seemed particularly enthusiastic, almost knocking over her chair in her hurry to come and help. Her hair was dyed a deep crimson-hue and secured in a long ponytail that bobbed along behind her as she jogged. A small stampede of other nurses followed in her wake, their collective assets jiggling all over the place as they moved, which you now realised promised nothing but torment for your time in this facility.
Much to your relief, short-lived though it may be, the stampede of incoming nurses was stopped in its tracks as a throat was cleared loudly, all of them turning to look as a shorter woman with a stern expression and piercing blue eyes stared at them all from a doorway at the far end of the room. She was older than the nurses and notably less endowed, a few grey hairs beginning to show among short blonde locks. From the clipboard she held and the white coat she was wearing, you suspected she was a doctor and held onto some small hope that she might yet save you.
As the woman strode slowly across the room Emily and Talia finally separated, leaving you exposed and gasping for air as you hung limply from Talia’s grasp. Looking you up and down with an apathetic gaze, the doctor made a tutting noise and glanced down at her clipboard. “Hunter Woods. Admitted due to a severe case of Minus Dissociative Personality Disorder causing both multiple personalities and several incidents of acute memory loss, as well as an apparent inability to determine on a day-to-day basis whether you want to be used as an object or seen as a man.” You tried to protest, but she cut you off. “It also says here that you’ve begun to hallucinate and create imagined conspiracies aimed against yourself.” She turned the clipboard so you could see it and pointed to a scrawl near the bottom. “Fortunately young man, we have your signature to give you all the help you need.”
The ochre-skinned girl smiled at you sadly as your condition was set out, inching slightly closer as she did so. Up close, you realised that this girl was younger than your current holders, likely in her late teens or very early twenties and that despite an obviously high level of tone she sported a set of curves that put even Quinn to shame, her breasts seemingly defying gravity as they stretched the too thin fabric of her top. “You poor thing. Don’t worry though, because the nurses here are the best and we’re going to look after you little guy.” She smiled so wide you thought it might have hurt. “I’m just getting started here myself but I’ll do everything I can to help you get better.”
Clearing her throat again, the doctor sent a small glare at the crimson-haired girl before addressing you once more. “As I was saying. I am Doctor Miller, and I am in charge of all of our patients here, including you. The nurse who interrupted me…” The younger girl blushed and smiled sheepishly. “…is Allira, our newest nurse in training. You two are both newbies of a sort.”
“Please, you don’t understand.” You tried to argue. Tried to make them see sense. “I’m not supposed to be here. Those documents are fake. I just want to go home.” Unfortunately, Miller just smiled a flat, unreadable smile, her eyes betraying no emotion. “We want you to be able to go home as well Mr Woods, but it just won’t be safe for you until you are cured. Why, one day you may be perfectly content as some nice girl’s new bra, then the next you may wake up suddenly convinced that everything you previously knew to be true is wrong. Just think of how traumatic that might be for the both of you.” She shook her head. “No, you need to get better young man.”
Everywhere you looked you could see nurses nodding along in agreement, each and every one of them looking at you sympathetically, like you were truly some broken thing in need of help. You realised with rising dread that Miller had them all totally under her thumb, and that anything you might say would just be argued away in the face of her experience and those ‘signed’ documents. You wondered if even she knew the truth, or if the doctor was just another person deceived by Rachel, convinced of the righteousness of her own purpose regardless of mounting evidence.
While you contemplated your fate, Miller held out her hand expectantly towards Talia, who handed you over without protest. The rougher surface of the older woman’s palm shocked you out of your thoughts, and you looked up only to see the blonde paying you no attention as she turned and walked back the way she had come, navigating a short hallway before stepping into a small office. You briefly contemplated another escape attempt, now that you only had one opponent to worry about, but no sooner had the heavy door slid to then the doctor simply dropped you onto her desk.
Striking the surface with a painful thump, you felt your legs squish beneath your weight, and turned to glare up at the careless woman. Your anger faltered in the face of fear though as Miller’s apathetic smile turned sadistic and she chuckled slowly. “Don’t bother trying to scream pest. This room is sound-proofed. Those stupid nurses won’t be able to hear you now.” Fear gave way to anger once more as you shouted out. “You knew!” But the cruel woman just responded by prodding you with a finger and knocking you onto your back, pressing down on your chest and keeping you pinned with utter ease. “Of course I did. Did you think I’d be blind to what goes on in my own facility?”
She sneered as she continued to look down at you like she was inspecting a bug. “You need to accept that you’ve lost. I don’t know what you did to piss off Rachel, but that was perhaps the last mistake you will ever make. You belong to me now. You leave when I say so. If I say so. As I say so.” Another dark chuckle rose from her throat. “And don’t expect those foolish girls to help you. We pick them very carefully to ensure ongoing compliance. They’re all compassionate souls to be sure, but they are also the kind of people who defer to authority, and their opinion of your kind tends more towards how one might treat a child or a pet. Fitting, given that you are certainly not a man.”
Though your blood boiled, you tried to maintain a modicum of calm as you spoke. “You. Can’t. Keep me here. My family will come looking for me. My friends know where I am. They’ll find out what you’re doing here.” If you really thought about it there was no way this situation could last. No matter what lies Rachel had told your roommates, those same excuses wouldn’t fly with your family.
Miller just smirked at your words, her tone mocking as she spoke. “Really now. We’ve done it so many times before, what makes you think that you will be special. If your family won’t believe the first lie then we’ll just tell them another. After all, in the eyes of the law, you signed up for this.” With the hand not holding you down she flicked through a couple of files on her desk. “You’ve met Emily and Talia. I wonder, did Talia introduce you to her thong, or did Emily let you meet her insole? Did you perhaps feel a sense of kinship with them?” Her smirk only grew as she watched your face twitch in recognition and she found the files she was looking for, laying them out beside you.
“Samuel Reynolds. Arrogant enough to think that he could tutor real humans, like some kind of equal. Isabella lured him in with a fake job offer and then we put him in his place.” Blue eyes shifted to the second file. “Ben Smith. Somehow managed to trick some foolish girl into agreeing to marry him. Yakima, I think her name was.” She shook her head, nostrils flaring in outrage. “Ridiculous. Fortunately for everyone involved, Rachel managed to scoop him up before they could go through with the nuptials.” The doctor looked back to you, sneering in disgust. “They were defiant like you at first. So were their so-called families, but they came around in time. And now after years of being traded between the nurses, the two of them are almost ready for release.” Miller chuckled, though there was no true mirth in her expression. “Of course, not as men. No, they’ve been cured of that arrogant delusion. The two of them will make fine additions to someone’s wardrobe.”
You continued to glare at the doctor, though inside you were gradually losing hope. “I will get out of he-.” A finger flicked you in the face, snapping your head back and stunning you temporarily. “No. You won’t.” Her voice was cold now, and would brook no further disagreement. “Here, my word is law, and it is I who will decide on your primary caregiver. Maybe I’ll give you to Emily to replace Sam, or to Talia to replace Ben. Or perhaps you would prefer young Allira. You’d be her first charge so I’m sure she would take extra special care of you. Of course, you’d still be seeing the others as well.”
You knew you had no choice in the matter, just glaring balefully until Dr Miller decided to…
Though her grip had slackened for a moment, Talia recovered quickly, bringing you back to her chest as she tried to comfort you. “Hunter, what’s wrong? Calm down please.
