You awake to the sight of Morgan’s concerned face staring down at you with a look of concern, which softened when she saw you moving.
“Avery, Quinn! He’s awake!” Her face was soon flanked by the equally enormous faces of Quinn and Avery.
You saw the look of concern on Avery’s face change to her usual carefree smile once she saw you were awake.
Quinn was showing her usual apathetic expression, but you could see the worry in her eyes.
You suddenly became aware of the sounds of many different conversations coming from all around you. This made you take a look around and you and realise that you were currently on a bus, with you and your roommates occupying the back seats.
You looked back to your roommates in confusion before Avery, noticing the confused look on your face, spoke up.
“We all took the day off to take you to the C.T.C and help you get rid of that general usage license!” Avery’s exuberant personality and loud voice drew the looks of a few of the other women on the bus, many of their eyes drawing to you at the mention of your usage license. Several of them gave you flirty looks, most of them gave you looks that made you very uncomfortable. You were speechless as Avery broadcasted to the whole bus that they could freely use you and the law would be on their side.
Morgan and Quinn quickly shushed Avery who didn’t even seem to realise what she had done wrong, but the damage was already done. You could feel many sets of eyes on you, including the bus driver, who you could see stealing glances back at your group in her rear view mirror.
“What? It’s not as if anyone could take Hunter from the three of us, we just need to keep an eye on him,” Avery huffed defensively as she saw the irritated looks on the other girl’s faces because of her outburst.
“So Hunter, the plan is to walk in to the C.T.C building and demand a meeting with the woman who notarised your license and try to straighten this out. If not we can try and threaten legal action against them, although that might be a difficult route since these usage licenses are kinda hard to get rid of from what I hear. Plus none of us really have that much money to pay a good lawyer, so let’s hope it doesn’t come to that,” Morgan’s eyes seemed to sadden as she explained how difficult that getting rid of this license could be. You felt yourself falling deeper into panic the more you thought about it as well. The only thing keeping you even slightly calm was the fact that all three of your roommates were here to protect you.
“Our stop should be coming up soon, so sit tight Hunter,” Avery gave you a small smile, which then faded to her usual neutral expression once she realised she was smiling.
The bus journey passed uneventfully, the chatter between your roommates drifted away from your situation, which helped ease your nerves. However as the girls chatted you couldn’t shake the feeling of several sets of eyes still on you, many of the women on the bus hadn’t taken their eyes off of you since Avery’s outburst, even the bus driver was still stealing glances at you when she wasn’t focusing on the road. Eventually Quinn and Morgan also noticed the stares, both of them giving you a look of reassurance as Avery continued to chat.
Eventually the bus started to approach the stop closest to the C.T.C office building. Quinn, Morgan and Avery stood up, with Morgan at the front holding you.
Many of the women who were watching you lost interest when they saw you leaving the bus, except for one, the driver.
As your group walked through the isle you saw her glance at you and smirk. Before you could even contemplate what was happening she pressed on the breaks, jolting the bus to a halt in the stop. Morgan stumbled forward with you in her hand as she tried to keep her grip on you. Does she succeed?
1) Yes, Morgan manages to keep a hold of you and you all get off the bus as quickly as possible. Morgan and Quinn glaring at the bus driver as you do.
2) No, and you go flying forward towards the bus driver, exactly as she planned.
3) No, you go flying backwards towards one of the other passengers, or towards Quinn or Avery.
You awake to the sight of Morgan’s concerned face staring down at you with a look of concern, which softened when she saw you moving.
