You don't know how you got to where you are. The last thing you remember is going to sleep in a nice comfy bed only to be woken up by an admittedly cute but giant elven woman looking over you with curiosity. You see her eyes perk as you start to stand up. "Who are you? And how did you get into my room, little one?" The elf asked as you get lost in her emerald green eyes, "ummmm to be honest I don't know, I went to sleep in my bed at my house and next thing I woke up here to you looking down at me" you explain to her, hoping she believes you.

She reaches down and grabs you, placing you in her palm and smiles at you, " I am the mage Frieren, I defeated the demon king 80 years ago and am traveling with my apprentice, it's nice to meet you." You stare in shock that this woman, who looks to be in her late teens at oldest is over 80 years old, you knew elves had longer life spans but you've never experienced it before, "nice to meet you, I'm Y/N and I don't have any accomplishments nearly that impressive but I was hoping you could help me." She looks down at you and smiles "yes, I don't see why not, you won't take up much space nor eat much at that size, just be careful around my apprentice, Fern, she has a bit of a temper but she's currently out on her own quest and should be back in a few days. You sigh in relief that you have acquired help but wonder, "is there a way for you to get me to normal size?" Frieren closes her eyes, deep in thought as she goes through her memory of spells, "to my current knowledge no, I don't have any magic of size manipulation, nor have I heard of it but I collect strange magics as a hobby so we might run across it on our journey" she explains to you, while this does somewhat disappoint you, you remain hopeful that it'll come up in the future. You start to see that you are being placed on the ground, you begin to get a feel for the scale that you're at as the petite elf is massive to you from the floor she then walks to her bed, kicks off her boots and pulls out a grimoire "go ahead and explore around for a bit, I'll just be sitting here reading, if you need me you can come tap on my toes if I don't hear you. Once Fern returns we'll work out more of the specifics of you joining as you will need to earn your keep."
