Three Inch Tall Isekai pt. 13 Giantess/Transformation Short Stories chapter 14 by copier · original author: lifesaver

The steam from the hot springs curled lazily into the air, carrying with it the faint scent of minerals and the soft murmurs of laughter. Max sat stiffly on the rock, determined to keep his eyes fixed on the bubbling water in front of him. Just focus on the water. He repeated the mantra in his head, trying to ignore the way his heart thrummed in his chest. The warmth of the springs seemed to radiate toward him, making it hard to ignore the women just a few feet away.

Aella’s deep, commanding laugh carried over the sound of the water. “Mira, you’re too soft on him,” she said, her voice dripping with amusement. “He’s supposed to help us, not be coddled like a lost kitten.”

Max’s ears burned. He could feel their eyes on him even if he refused to look. Just keep staring at the water. But then Mira’s soft, lilting voice cut through his resolve.

“He’s been through a lot, Aella,” Mira said, her tone gentle but firm. “You can’t blame him for being overwhelmed. He didn’t ask to be summoned here, and he’s doing his best.”

Max’s chest tightened at her words. At least someone understands. But before he could dwell on it, Lyra’s voice, sharp and teasing, sliced through the air.

“Oh, come on, Mira,” Lyra drawled, her tone dripping with mischief. “You’re making it sound like he’s some kind of victim. He’s fine. In fact, I think he’s enjoying the view.”

Max’s face flushed, and he could practically hear the smirk in her voice. He clenched his fists, his body stiffening as he fought the urge to turn and defend himself. Don’t look. Don’t give her the satisfaction. But then a splash of water hit the rock beside him, jerking his attention back to the springs.

Lyra was leaning against the edge of the pool, her sharp eyes locked on him, a wicked grin playing on her lips. “What’s the matter, Maxie?” she taunted, her voice low and teasing. “Not enjoying the show?”

Max swallowed hard, his throat dry. “I’m—I’m not looking,” he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper.

Aella barked out a laugh, her deep voice echoing off the rocks. “Sure you’re not,” she said, her tone laced with sarcasm. “We’ve all seen how you’ve been sneaking glances, little man. Don’t think you’re fooling anyone.”

Max’s face burned, and he quickly turned his gaze back to the water, his heart pounding in his chest. This is torture. He could feel their eyes on him, their laughter ringing in his ears. He squeezed his eyes shut, trying to block it all out, but it was no use. The sound of the bubbling water, the faint scent of their skin, the warmth radiating toward him—it all felt overwhelming.

Mira’s voice broke through his thoughts, soft and soothing. “Leave him alone, you two,” she chided, her tone gentle but firm. “Can’t you see he’s uncomfortable?”

Lyra snorted, leaning back in the water with a smirk. “That’s the point, Mira. How else is he supposed to get used to it? It’s not like he’s going anywhere.”

Aella chuckled, her deep voice rumbling through the air. “She’s got a point. He’s stuck with us, whether he likes it or not. Might as well make the best of it.”

Max’s stomach churned, and he clenched his fists tighter, his nails digging into his palms. They’re never going to stop. He could feel the weight of their gazes, their laughter, their teasing. It was too much.

“Hey, Max,” Lyra called, her voice light and playful. “Why don’t you come join us? The water’s nice.”

Max’s eyes widened, and he quickly shook his head. “N-no thanks,” he stammered, his voice trembling. “I’m fine here.”

Lyra pouted, her bottom lip jutting out in an exaggerated display of disappointment. “Aw, come on,” she whined. “Don’t be such a spoilsport. You’re missing out.”

Aella smirked, leaning back in the water with her muscular arms resting on the edge of the pool. “He’s probably scared he’ll drown,” she said, her tone teasing. “Can you imagine? The chosen one, defeated by a little water.”

Lyra giggled, her sharp eyes gleaming with mischief. “Oh, I don’t know,” she said, her voice lilting. “He might like it. Who knows? Maybe he’s into that kind of thing.”

Max’s face burned, and he quickly looked away, his heart racing. Why can’t they just leave me alone? He could feel their eyes on him, their laughter ringing in his ears. It was too much.

“Lyra,” Mira said, her voice soft but firm. “Enough. You’re making him uncomfortable.”

Lyra sighed, leaning back in the water with a shrug. “Fine,” she said, her tone light but still laced with amusement. “But he’s missing out.”

Max let out a shaky breath, his body trembling with a mix of embarrassment and frustration. This is never going to end. He just wanted to be left alone, to have a moment of peace where he wasn’t the butt of their jokes. But deep down, he knew that wasn’t possible. Not with them.

The sound of the bubbling water filled the air, and Max focused on it, trying to block out their voices. But then a soft splash caught his attention, and he glanced up to see Mira wading toward the edge of the pool, her soft, voluptuous form glistening in the steam.

“Max,” she said, her voice gentle as she reached out to him. “Are you sure you don’t want to come in? It’s really nice.”

Max’s breath caught in his throat, his eyes widening as he stared at her soft, inviting gaze. She’s too close. He could feel the warmth radiating from her, the faint scent of her skin making his head spin.

“I—I’m fine,” he stammered, his voice trembling as he quickly looked away.

Mira frowned, her soft eyes filled with concern. “Are you sure? You look like you could use a break.”

Max swallowed hard, his heart pounding in his chest. She’s too close. He could feel the warmth of her breath, the softness of her skin. It was too much.

“I’m fine,” he repeated, his voice barely above a whisper.

Mira hesitated, her soft eyes searching his face for a moment before she finally nodded. “Okay,” she said, her voice gentle. “If you change your mind, just let me know.”

Max let out a shaky breath as she turned and waded back into the pool, his heart still racing in his chest. Why does she have to be so nice? It was almost worse than the teasing. At least with Aella and Lyra, he knew where he stood. But Mira… Mira was different. Her kindness, her concern—it made him feel even more vulnerable.

The sound of their laughter filled the air again, and Max squeezed his eyes shut, trying to block it all out. Just focus on the water. But then Lyra’s sharp voice cut through his thoughts, her tone dripping with mischief.

“Hey, Max,” she called, her voice light and playful. “You’re missing out on all the fun.”

Max’s face burned, and he quickly turned his gaze back to the water, his heart pounding in his chest. This is never going to end.
