Cassie plans to get Jake back... One Foot Tall Fiancé chapter 21 by copier · original author: falseident

Today, after your final class, you head to your student mailbox to see if you had received any mail. Usually a futile measure as you rarely received anything; everyone who did want to contact you would just call you on your dorm phone...or just come find you. Using phones of any kind was hard!

As you enter the small open air hut that sits just outside the dorm, you notice your mail box has the flag set to green. The walls are covered in small letter boxes which all carry a small lever that flips a colored card split between green and red. Red indicated no mail...green indicated mail. Completely surprised by this fact, you walk over and begin the journey up. Each box had enough of a lip to allow a foot tall person, such as yourself, to climb up the boxes. 6 boxes up, you make it to yours. With a quick pull, you unlatch the box and open it; you didn't need a key as you had requested it just stay unlocked. The hut had security surveillance anyways and who would steal a bunch of letters?

Just as you gently guide the door open, you hear some footsteps behind you. Turning you see that Dr. Beckett had arrived with a stack of letters palmed in one hand.

"Hi there Jake. Running through one of your exercise routines again?" Dr. Beckett always seemed to be wearing a sardonic smile around you though her eyes seemed to be bear a bit happiness at seeing you.

"Not today Professor; I actually received a letter!" You say with a bit of happiness, still surprised at this fact.

"How surprising! Maybe it's a prank? Anyone who sees you would figure getting to your mail would be...a bit of a challenge." This time, on an open, wide smile. A normal person would take it as an insult but really it was just her way of having fun.

"Yeaaah, right. Anyways, what's a big shot professor like you doing over at the dorms? Pop quiz before winter break?" As you're talking you grab the small envelope in your letterbox, just slightly taller than you standing upright, and hop back down to the ground.

"It looks like that exercise is actually working out. You stuck the landing without so much as a grunt!" Dr. Beckett quipped at you. "And no I'm not here for a quiz. You can be sure you will get one after break though. I'm here dropping off some cards wishing happy holidays to my students. Which reminds me here's yours." She takes a small envelope out and holds it just above your head...which means it's just out of reach.

"Really professor?" You found it hard to believe she's in her thirties...

"C'mon, you should take something when it's offered to you. Don't keep me waiting; it's much too cold for that." Despite these words, she's clearly enjoying this with those narrowed eyes and wide smile.

You take a small hop and grasp for it; it magically pulls away at the last moment. With another tired stare at Dr. Beckett's still smiling face, you take a step away. In a bid to surprise her, you quickly turn around and take a running leap. You manage to snatch the letter!

But the icy ground prevented you from sticking the landing this time round; you slip and land on your back looking up between Dr. Beckett's legs.

You couldn't help but note the panties wrapped around her curvy rear and hips found underneath her skirt. Dr. Beckett clears her throat with one hand on her cocked hips. "Enjoying the view? Though, I guess that was more or less my fault. But you are definitely getting that quiz."

You quickly go to stand back up, blushing furiously. You're still a pervert...you've got to work on that. Slipping and sliding too and fro, you manage to gather up your two letters and start sprinting towards the dorms. "S-sorry Dr. Beckett! Happy Holidays! See you later!"

Dr. Beckett chuckles. "What a cute kid."

From a distant building corner, a person sighs in relief. You didn't look at the letter while in the Professor's presence...the plan can still go on.

Later on...

You manage to make it up the final flight of stairs in the dorms...why in the world did the college put all the things that belong to you at the top of something. Your letterbox at the top, your dorm at the top floor...you wouldn't be surprised if this was a prank of some kind. You quickly run down the slightly smelly hall along it's honestly filthy carpet (college dorms are a cesspit) and approach the small doggie door they had installed in your door. It was a bit...embarrassing but it did make life easier never having to unlock and open your door. Maintenance had told you it was no problem; when you graduate they would just replace the door. You remember their kindness fondly.

As you push passed the plastic flaps you decide to go ahead and read your letters. You toss your parka off, slide off your shoes and run up the steps beside your twin sized bed. You jump on your firm to normal people yet super soft to you pillow and begin to tear open the letters. Your muscles flex as they tear open the paper with ease...not that hard a task but it reminded you that you're working harder to be better. Starting with Dr. Beckett's, you open it to find a cute handmade card filled with holiday themed drawings. You never knew she was an artist...or this bad at it. You chuckled as the card wished a happy holiday and reminded you to be safe partying. Like you'd ever party now. You toss the card to land on your nightstand nearby. The next letter had no sender...so handwritten and hand delivered by someone nearby. Who could this be?

The letter reads...

Jake,

I've liked you for a long time now. I'd like for you to meet up with me in room 501 in the Hagen wing. I'd like to give you something in person...in private. Please meet me there at 9:00pm.

Love,
Anonymous.

You stare in shock at the words...a confession? From who? You barely interacted with anyone...wait, room 501? That's your Public Finance class...taught by Dr. Beckett. Your stomach, heart, hell all your organs begin fluttering. Was this from Dr. Beckett? THE Dr. Beckett? The person you admire most now?

...do you love the Professor?

Shaking that thought out of your head, you try to think rationally. There's nothing guaranteeing that it's her. There's also NO REASON for you to think so highly of yourself. You admire her greatly and maybe like her...but you shouldn't get ahead of yourself thinking that you two could possibly get together. The incident with Cassie only proved that you're just not mature enough...

...the matter of the letter still needed to be addressed. They want to meet you. Should you? You'd probably have to end up rejecting them...you're just not ready. You shouldn't go...but that wouldn't be right, right? They had the courage to try and communicate their feelings. The right thing to do would be to hear them out and let them down as gently as possible. The meeting time is at 9:00PM...just 15 minutes before the room is locked up for the night by maintenance. At that time, no one would be in the room. They chose the time well and location...it's too far for most people who live on campus to use regularly for studying. Despite your trepidation you decide to go...hopefully it doesn't take so long it becomes a public spectacle when maintenance catches you two. You'd want to spare your confessor the embarrassment.

It takes about 30 minutes for you to make the walk to Hagen...the time is currently 4:00PM. Better be sure to leave on time.
