Fighting with your own body to undue the damage your carefree mother had inflicted on you, you were caught off guard when she simply rolled out of bed and headed out of her room. Your mother standing up from the bed caused a massive weight shift that made you flip over, much to your annoyance, but at least it wouldn't hamper your reforming efforts. Walking out of the room still clad in her typical silky pajama set, she called over her shoulder at you, "I'll get breakfast going, Jake! Oh and I can't wait to see what you got for me today!"
Finally popping back into a nice and normal shape and size, you were left in silence wondering what the heck your mom had meant by her statement. You getting her something? You had no idea what she was on about. Peering over at the bedside calendar however though, you felt your heart drop as you saw a flurry of hearts popping out right on today's date. Mother's Day.
You had been so totally caught up in either being used as some object or tool for your mother, or resting off the damage, that you had completely forgotten her own damn holiday was coming up! Hopping out of bed, you felt the nervous panic creeping over you as you realized you had no gift planned at all and she was even expecting something!
'How can she be expecting me to have a gift for her when she's had her hands on me every second of the past few weeks!' you pondered. At this point you knew you'd need to think of something thoughtful, generous, and most importantly fast! So you sought out answers at the best place you could think of, the internet!
A quick few searches yielded you just what you needed. A cop-out last minute gift booklet of fun little coupons any son could give him mom to make her heart melt! Hitting print before reading a single damn one, you hastily retrieved some scissors and yanked the sheet hot out of the printer.
"Jake! Breakfast is ready, come on down!" you heard your mother shout out. A few snips and you had a neat stack of thirty considerate love coupons!
"Coming!" you shouted back as you hopped down from her desk chair and hurried down the stairs. You were starving and felt satisfied with your snappy thinking. Truly, you were the wittiest and most considerate son Dani could've asked for.
Running up to your mom preparing you both a couple nice plates of pancakes, you ran at her leg and planted a loving kiss on the back of her knee as you had many times before. "Happy Mother's Day, Mom!" you exclaimed causing her to turn around with plates in hand.
Not seeing you beneath both of your breakfasts, your mother began speaking, "Awwww, thank you, honey! Lemme just put these down on the tabl-*SQUISH*
Burying you underneath her huge and warm sole, your mom instantly peeped out an "Oops!" as she realized what she had just stepped on. Walking casually over to the dining table, she set your plates down before propping her ankle on her knee and peeling you free from the underside of her foot. "I know your gift to me wasn't to be my insole from the stove to the table, right sweetie?" your mom teased as she tossed you onto your dining chair.
You quickly inflated and wiped clean the light sheen of summer-foot-sweat that now coated your face before withdrawing your last minute gift. "No, of course not! I got you these!" Handing your mom your booklet of pink and heart covered "love coupons" you beamed brightly as you watched your mom take them with a small confused expression.
Your mother's perplexed face soon morphed into one of curiosity as she read through the first couple, and then you saw her jaw drop in an excited smile. "Oh my gosh, Jakey! You really got all these for me?!"
Wondering what she could possibly mean, you nervously scratched your head before replying, "...Uh...of course! Only the best gift for the best mom!" You watched as her smile grew wider and her eyes grew brighter and wider too with each card she flipped through and you started to worry what she could possibly be getting so excited about.
As if reading your mind, your mom soon started reading a few of her favorites...and your heart sank with each one she read as if she was reading them in order of increasing horror.
"One Massage anywhere, anytime, oooooh that one sounds sweet. An evening walk with Mom, a bike ride wherever I want, be your 'workout buddy' for a WEEK? One whole day with NO complaining? Oh just think of all the possibilities your little body can assist me with using these coupons!"
"Uhhh Mom that's not exactly what I had in mi-" you were interrupted as your mom flashed a card right in your face nearly knocking you over.
"And I think I'll cash this one in right now!" You barely had time to read the text "Uninterrupted Affection Showering" before your mom had grabbed you up and began smothering you in sopping wet kisses. "Oh--Jake--This--Is so--Sweet!" Your mom managed to speak out between overwhelmingly smooshing your face with her pillowy and yet powerful lips. Giving one last extra long and deep kiss before withdrawing and crushing you into her giant breasts with a bear hug you heard her continue, "This is the best Mother's Day ever! Thanks so much, my thoughtful little boy!"
Worried and wincing from what was transgressing, but also satisfied she loved your gift, you merely muttered out, "No problem..." before your mom resumed her affectionate assault. What on Earth was on these coupons? And how would your mom put her own unique spin on each one? You were almost trembling at the thought.
Finally finished with her way of showing her gratitude, your mom let you free and put you back in your chair where you quickly retrieved a napkin and began wiping your face clean of all the saliva that was beginning to drip down your neck. Your mom merely giggled as she watched you sheepishly dry yourself and began reading more of her coupons with a childlike enthusiasm.
You tried to start eating your pancakes but you couldn't really focus on the sweet taste as you heard murmurs slip out of your mom's mouth. "Hmm this one's kinda vague...any one chore..." You saw your mom's eyebrows furrow before they raised happily. "Ahh this one just says 'laundry'! That's definitely a super valuable one for someone who can become anything...I wonder if I could use some of these together...?"
Your face went pale and you seemed to have lost your appetite. Excusing yourself from the table you started to leave the room before you felt a finger pinch at the back of your shirt collar and hoist you up. "Just a sec, Jake. I think I'm ready to cash some in..."
Hearing what your mom chose you couldn't help but tilt your head. Why on earth would she choose these two?
