Phil felt the whoosh of the door close in front of him, the wind knocking him backwards. He just missed it. He tried to sneak under the door, but there was no space. The door was sealed to prevent hot and cold air from coming in. He banged on the door for a few seconds in desperation but just wound up with hurt fists.
Once he gathered his senses, he brainstormed what to do. He could try to break back in, waiting for the door to open or trying through a window, but another thought crosses his mind. He has just been literally locked out of school, maybe this is a good excuse to play hookie and have some fun around town. At his size, he never gets to do what he wants, but always had to follow around his mother or some other guardian. What does he decide to do?
