Phil quickly swings towards the purse, letting go of the girl's jeans. He lands in her purse with a bit of a thump, and is a little sore. Otherwise, he's unharmed.
The small boy stood up and dusted himself off. He took a moment to observe his surroundings, then smiled. The girl's purse was pretty clean, and he had landed on her compact case. It left him within easy reach of the lip of the purse.
Before he could react, the entire structure shook. He yelled out in panic. Losing his balance, he fell forward. He slid down the compact and ended up further into the purse than he had meant to go. He landed on something soft, and crinkly. The area around him was dark and still moving. After a rather hard knock to one side, the contents of the purse stopped shifting. Phil tried to stand up again.
Light erupted above him, which made the small boy look up. Just past the compact case, he could see the face of the girl who had nearly sat on him. She reached into her purse, still completely unaware of him. She grabbed what he was standing on, and pulled it out from under him. The three inch tall person fell back, hitting the bottom of her purse with a thud.
Phil just lay there, unsure of what to do...
