Given his previous treatment, he concludes that it’s best not to try to get help. He walks through the lonely hallways as close to the wall as possible where it’s hard for him to get spotted. The walk would take around 3 or 4 minutes for a normal-sized person, but for him it’s more like a half-hour. Girls and teachers frequently walk past on their own errands causing mini-earthquakes for him, but none of them seem to notice him. He finally approaches his hallway, which is around the corner.
