No, Phil is safe, for now. He listens as Ms. Prittey walks around the room searching for him.
"You had better show yourself wherever you are, or else..." she calls out as she looks. She starts with the table, then looks near her television, and so on. Eventually she reaches the couch. Phil sees her feet, which had imprisoned him all day, stop right in front of him. He couldn't see much of anything else but tried to decipher what she was doing based off of the noise he heard above. He hears the pillows and cushions move as she investigates the under the seat.
"All right, you are really starting to try my patience," exclaims an agitated Ms. Prittey. Phil grimaces as her feet stomp up and down in frustration. He can barely look at these torture devices move without fear coming over him. Soon, however, they depart from his view and are replaced with her thigh as Ms. Prittey kneels over to examine under the couch. Phil is immobilized with fear. Soon her face clouds his view as she looks, her face inches away from his. She squints as she tries to look into the darkness, the only thing preventing her from noticing Phil. Slowly, the couch above him is raised so that she might get a better look. Phil holds his breath and hopes for the best, too afraid that she'll notice quick movements to run. The room was fixed in a shroud of silence, heightening the tension and suspense.
But to Phil's horror, a loud noise breaks into the room. It's...
