Betsy Swallows Phil (temporarily)

Betsy coiled back and then struck, launching at Phil with her jaw wide open. Phil was sucked into the snake's mouth and swallowed whole, slowly sliding down her gullet. As he was inched deeper and deeper into the snake, Phil began to regain his strength. He tried punching at the walls around him but he was no match for Betsy's insides. His only hope was to stop his descent and slowly climb back out. He managed to push hard against the walls of the snake, preventing him from moving down any further.
Phil managed to look up and saw that there was a long way to go to escape from his predicament. He slowly tried moving in the other direction, attempting to leave Betsy. The snake must have noticed because she swallowed, forcing Phil down even further. The movement stopped and Phil again tried his ascent. This went back forth for what seemed like hours, Phil moving up a few inches and then pushed back down several more. The tiny boy didn't know how long he could keep this up, fearing that eventually he would get digested. He kept trying to escape but Betsy was determined to keep her snack inside of her. Phil continued fighting, and slowly he managed to make it back into Betsy's mouth.
Once inside the snake's mouth, Phil pushed on the roof of the mouth with all his might and looked outside. The snake was thrashing around inside the cage, desperately trying to snap her jaw shut again to retain Phil. The human meal took a deep breath and the leaped out of Betsy's mouth. He landed on the floor of the cage and looked up to see that Betsy was striking again, hoping to recapture him. Phil ran towards Betsy's rear and this time managed to climb onto her tail. Phil ran up the length of the snake as she rose higher. When he reached the top, he managed to get on top of Betsy's head, preventing her from eating him. Betsy banged her head on the roof of the cage, causing the glass to come off. Phil saw his chance and leaped out of the cage, landing on the stand where it rested. He then climbed down and ran to the door.
The tiny boy heard a hissing behind him and turned around to see that Betsy was chasing after him. Phil ran through a crack in the door and sped through the hallway. Betsy continued behind him, coming up close and snapping her jaw every time she was within reach of Phil. The tiny boy continued to run, looking behind him to see how much room he had. He then suddenly slammed into something soft and fell backwards. He looked up to see that it was a giant toe, with the owner of the toe reaching down to pick him up. Phil then saw it was Ms. Carter, who lifted him up to her face. The teacher asked "Phil, what on earth are you doing?" Phil was panting and managed to say "the snake was trying to eat me, I managed to escape." Ms. Carter glared at Phil and said "first, 'the snake' is named Betsy, and second, who told you that you could leave the cage?" Phil was shocked at what he heard and screamed "that thing tried to eat me!" Ms. Carter stared back at him blankly and said "of course she tried to eat you, she defeated you in battle, that's what snakes do." Phil could not believe his ears and said "so you were just going to let her eat me?" Ms. Carter raised an eyebrow and asked "why would I interfere?"
Ms. Carter clasped her hand tightly around Phil and walked back to the room. Along the way she picked up Betsy and placed her back in the cage. She then turned to Phil and said "I don't want to hear any more complaining. You are going back in that cage and that's final." Phil squirmed in her hand and said "you can't do this to me!" Ms. Carter squeezed more tightly and said "that does it Phil, if I catch you out of that cage again I'm going to eat you myself!" She then thought to herself and said "actually, that gives me an idea to make sure that you don't try anything." The giant woman lifted Phil and dropped him into her mouth. She sloshed him around inside, banging him against her cheek and tossing him around with her tongue. She then walked over to the cage and said "hey Betsy, are you hungry?" Betsy lifted herself out of the cage, stopped just short of Ms. Carter. The woman smiled and said "that's a good snake." As she spoke, Phil tried to climb out of her mouth but she pushed him back in with her finger and said "Phil, you are getting on my last nerve." She then turned her attention back to Betsy and said "okay honey, I have a snack for you, open wide." The snake opened its jaw and Ms. Carter opened hers directly over Betsy. She used her tongue to push Phil into Betsy's mouth, forcing the tiny boy inside of the snake. As Phil slid down the snake's gullet he heard Ms. Carter say "that's a good snake, you eat so nicely."
Phil slid down the snake's body, this time even further than before. He knew Ms. Carter would be waiting, so his goal was to make sure he didn't go down too far and then try to climb out later. The more he waited, though, the further Betsy pushed him inside. After about an hour, Phil began his escape.........
