Phil regained his composure and tried to look around. He couldn't move, and figured the machine hadn't worked the way he wanted it to, but didn't understand why he was completely frozen. His vision returned and he noticed in the reflection of the glass that he had transformed into a pair of high heel shoes. He was able to feel out of every inch from each of the shoes, and could see from every part of each one. He had somehow been separated into two separate entities, but with one mind.
After a few minutes of waiting, Phil realized that, unfortunately for him, the reset function of the machine had not been activated. There was no way he would turn back on his own, his only hope was for Heather to notice that he was missing and realize what happened to him. He knew the woman would punish him, but he was far more worried about what would happen if she didn't figure it out and he had to spend the rest of his life as her shoes.
After several hours, Phil could see that the sun had risen. A little while later, he heard Heather call out "Phil, I thought I told you to stay in my bra. Where are you?" Phil tried calling out to her, but without a mouth he had no ability to speak. He could hear Heather roaming around her house, calling out to him and threatening punishments if he didn't show himself. Phil was sure he was in trouble, but expected that she would at least understand why she didn't respond to him.
After a half hour of searching, Heather entered her laboratory. She walked over to the machine and........
