After Heather drifted off to sleep, Phil made his move. As he crawled under the door, he began to make his way towards her lab. "Tests, HA!. She just wants to keep me small like everyone else!" he thought to himself. As he made it to the lab, he began his arduous climb up to the controls.
After taking a breather at the top, he started looking across them. It was then he realized he didn't know how to work the controls at all. With a little investigation though, he found a screen showing previous change presets, and put it on the most current one. Hope filling his heart, he set a timer on the machine and ran to the chamber.
What Phil didn't know was that the presets were ones that Heather had saved, and his size change wasn't one of them. In fact, the one he'd picked was something she set up to fulfill a clothing need for the next day. He made it into the chamber and eagerly awaited his longly held emergence as a perfectly normal human being as the light bathed him. Unfortunately for him, as the light faded, he realized he was instead a perfectly normal, albeit sentient and with all his senses...
