"And thank you little guy." Anna said to tiny Phil as he was pulled; drenched in saliva, from the nurses mouth. "You did a great job helping Emma!" She continued as she got up from the examination table. "She's always so busy in here. Its good to see someone willing to help out." Anna turned to go. "So is he gonna be helping you all day today?" She asked.
"Yeah I think so," Emma said, as she gazed at the tiny wet boy in her fingers.
Anna headed for the lounge to gather her purse and jacket. on the way she stopped in to let the principle know she was taking the day off. Some of the other teachers who were on their break in the lounge overheard her.
"Early day Anna?" Erin, a tall lean woman in a white blouse and short black skirt asked as Anna gathered her stuff.
"Yeah." Anna answered. "Emma said I'm coming down with something. So I'm gonna play it safe and rest up."
"Uh-huh." said Lanae, a busty african-american lady in a tight blue pantsuit. "You know, I heard its the season finale of "Four And Four-Eighths Ladies" the most popular new soap to hit the small-screen this season.
"Ah-hah." Anna shot back. "I wouldn't know anything about that. Anyway ask Emma and her tiny little new assistant if you need proof."
"Tiny little assistant you say?" Lanae retorted skeptically. "I take it back. This girl is sick. She's hallucinating, seeing tiny people now are you?"
"Its that new kid, The tiny boy. Whats his name. anyway the tiny kid is helping her in the office today." Anna explained.
"Really?" Erin mused. "You don't say."
"Oh I see."said Lanae shifting her round butt in the cushions of the plush couch she was seated in. "You know, I think I may be comming down with something too, come to think of it."
Anna glanced at her watch. "I gotta go guys. See you." She exited in a hurry and left the two ladies alone in the teachers lounge.
Erin and Lanae looked at each other. then smiling and giggling they leaped from their seats and headed for the nurses office.
Emma was filling out more paper work as Phil stood awkwardly on the desk top in front of her wondering what he should say. She seemed to be very busy but he didn't know what to do. His clothes, and hair were still damp from spit. And he felt awful. He hoped he wouldn't catch anything from being in that sick ladies mouth. His worries were suddenly interrupted as two new women he hadn't met before came bursting into the office. they seemed to be stifling laughter. Nurse Emma looked up from her work, eyeing up the pair.
"Can I help you two ladies?" she asked; all business.
the two women were staring at phil and it was making him very nervous.
