"What do you want me to do?" the nurse demanded. "Oh," Phil said, "it's just, I hurt my......." The nurse interrupted him and said "Nice story from your girlfriend, I bet it's just a coincidence that you have a test today, right?" Phil stammered "um, no, it's, um, actually, I....." he was cut off again the nurse saying "don't give me excuses, I don't have the patience to deal with fakers today. Get your ass back to class." Phil looked around and saw that he was placed on a high counter and there was no way he could find his way down. "Um, nurse," he called up, "could you help me down?" The nurse glared down at Phil and said "you're very demanding, aren't you? You know what, fine, you're going to stay here for the next period and help me out. That'll teach you not to fake being hurt."
The nurse picked Phil up and placed him into the breast pocket of her lab coat. There were no students in the office at the time, so she just filled out paperwork. Phil was getting uncomfortable in the pocket and tried shifting around. "Hey," the nurse called out, "stop moving in there, it's really unpleasant." Phil tried to stay completely still so as not to incur the woman's wrath.
As she continued her work, one of the teacher's stopped in. "Hey Emma," the teacher said, "I haven't been feeling so great, can you take a look and see if you can figure it out." The nurse looked up and said "sure thing Anna, let's see what we have." She stood up and said "unfortunately, I'm out of a lot of my equipment." She then had a thought and said "however, my little assistant here can help me out." She pulled Phil out of her pocket and said "alright, time to be useful. Emma then turned to Anna and said "alright, open wide." The teacher opened her mouth and Emma used Phil as a tongue depresser, pushing the tiny boy firmly against the woman's tongue. After a few moments she pulled Phil out and said "yeah, it looks a little swollen. Let's take your temperature." She then placed Phil back in the woman's mouth and Anna closed down on the tiny boy. Phil flailed his legs wildly to get free but Anna kept him firmly in place for the new few minutes. When Emma finally removed Phil, she put him in her own mouth and said "yeah, you seem feverish, you should take the rest of the day." Anna thanked Emma for helping......
