'Hannah, you can look after Phil.' said Miss Prittey. Every girl in the room let out a groan of dissapointment. Ms. Prittey carried Phil over to the desk of a girl in the second row. She was pale, with dark red shoulder length hair and almost elfin features. Her deep green eyes regarded Phil nervously.
'Uh, hi?' she said quietly, giving Phil a small wave and a small smile. Phil smiled back.
'Hey.' he said as Ms. Prittey returned to the front of the room.
'But Missssssss!' whined a blonde girl sitting in the row behind Hannah. 'I wanted to look after him!'
'Oh shush Jessica.' reprimanded the teacher. 'You'll have time to get to know him at recess.' And she went back to teaching the class.
