Best Friends now Roommates! Amazonia University chapter 3 by Topspinner87

Leo made his way out of the auditorium, envelope and key in hand. "Okay, no pressure, just this will be your roommate for the semester....please don't be Cassandra" He whispered before someone plucked the envelope from his hands. 

"What the!" he said before looking up and seeing Samantha. "Oh hey Sam, uh mind if I get that back? I should meet my roommate. Make an introduction ya know?" the young man said reaching for the envelope, only for Sam to lift it away from his reach each time he tried to grab it. 

"Come on Leo you want it?" Samantha asked as she continued to dangle the envelop just out of Leos reach. This was something common for her to do after she hit her growth spurt. After a few more attempts Leo came to a realization. "You're my roommate aren't ya?" he asked.

"Maybe" Samantha giggled like a school girl. The towering ginger amazon had a playful grin as she looked down at her shorter friend. "You know you have a terrible poker face" Leo said with one eyebrow raised and a smirk on his face. 

"ehehehe ok ya got me we are roomies! Come here!" Samantha said as she scooped Leo up in a tight hug. "Isn't this exciting!!!" She asked squeezing him. 

"Y-Yea! Sam too tight!" Leo wheezed before feeling Samantha's vice grip loosen and place him down. As Leo gasped for air Samantha gave him envelope. Once he caught his breath he opened it and read the form, which did in fact have Samantha's name on it. 

"Hey did you doubt me?" Sam asked with a pout. Leo chuckled softly and rolled his eyes. 

"I mean, a lil you could've gotten someone whose name looked like mine but looks like that isn't the case. Lets check out the dorms" Leo said with a smile. He was rather thankful he got his childhood friend as his roommate. Saved him the trouble of having to get to know someone new.  

Soon the two were off to the dorms. As they walked to two chatted about their summer vacation, trips they had, stuff they did. Leo was thankful he stayed close to Sam as he noticed some Amazonians eyeing him. Soon they arrived at the dorms. "Okay we are in Room, 269, guess thats on the second floor" Samantha said as they found an elevator and entered it. 

A few more amazonian gals entered as well. As the elevator became crowded with large ladies, Leo felt a hand grab him and press him against a plump thigh. Looking up he saw it was Sam holding him close. A faint blush was seen on her face as she did so, Leo also blushed a little with how close he was to her. Even though for the two it was just a trip up one floor, it felt as if time slowed down. 

The elevator soon dinged having reached the second floor. As a few ladies walked out, Leo was pulled out by Samantha as she exited. "Man it was crowded in there, next time lets take the stairs" She commented wiping away some sweat. 

"Agreed" Leo said as he wiped some sweat off himself, he figured it was Sam's as it smelt like her perfume. The best friends turned roommates made their way to their room, this time rather quiet as their minds raced a bit about what happened. "Hey uh, sorry about that in there by the way" Samantha said as they arrived at dorm 369. 

"O-Oh its fine honestly im uh kinda glad ya did..so we wouldn't get separated" Leo said blushing. "Y-Yea thats why I did it" Sam replied also blushing before during to their dorm. The door was made to open for someone at Sam's height and there was a door built into it at Leo's height. Outside were their bags, after unlocking the door the two entered and looked around their dorm. 

The inside of the dorm was a typical dorm, a living room area and kitchen area. Separate sleeping rooms, bathrooms. Granted it was all made for an amazon around Sam's height but manageable for Leo due to Sam being on the shorter end of the Amazonian height spectrum. 

After each claiming a room, both got to work with unpacking their bags. However the two could not stop thinking about how they were feeling on the elevator. "I don't wanna risk ruining our friendship asking her if she wants to date, she's my child hood friend. On the other hand though, if she was my girlfriend that my deter some folks on campus....what am I thinking!!! I shouldn't use that as a reason to justify us dating, and it would be awkward if I ask her out and she shoots me down....even if I kinda have a bit of a crush on her." Leo thought. 

Sam on the other hand had rather similar thoughts. "Oh my god oh my god oh my god!!!! AHHHHH I can't believe I did that! uggggh why does he have to be so cute! Okay that's it! You have had a crush on him ever since middle school! Confess to him now or else this whole semester will get awkward!"

Soon the two exited their rooms and looked at one another. "Hey Sam" "Sup Leo" They said. 

"You uh, wanna watch tv?" Leo asked. "Idiot! Ask her out!" He screamed internally. "Totally!" Sam replied. "Oh Come on! Just say he's cute and you wanna date him!" She yelled mentally. 

"Why am I so dumb?!" Both yelled at themselves internally. Soon the two got on the couch and turned on the tv. After flipping through some channels they found a fantasy movie marathon on that just started. "Oh I love this movie!" They said in unison before blushing a bit. 

They chuckled and began to watch the movie, as they did so they began to get comfortable, which led to Leo resting his head on Sam's shoulder, which caused Sam to wrap her arm around Leo. His face now laid against her somewhat sweaty arm pit, but Leo did not mind. 

After awhile the two could not take it any more. "Sam I need to tell you something" Leo said. "Likewise" Sam replied. 

The two looked at each other, waiting for one to speak first.
