My name is Ne and I am a member of the Minanachy Tribe. I was born to Zal and Mani one hundred moons ago. I am a man now and alone, my parents were taken by the rat beasts many sunrises ago. My tribe lives inside the heart of a massive tomb, built by the giant gods many, many moons ago. A small lake flows beside our village supplying us with water, the food we hunt for. There are many beasts roaming our home, it is the job of the hunter to both kill these threats and take them back to the village to eat. I am a hunter and proud of it.
There are only several hundred members of my tribe, with the lack of medicine and constant attack by beasts; my tribe is often thinned out. Most men and women don’t live longer then me, especially hunters. But I am strong and fast, I have even avoided the dreaded fangs of the serpent. I have promised myself that I would live long enough to see the next generation be born and teach them the ways of the tribe. We are a proud people, every creature is bigger then us yet we have survived as we will forever and ever. Everyday we thank the giant gods for placing us deep in their tomb, safe from the even larger and more deadly beasts living outside. If we ever left the safety of the tomb, I’m sure we would be doomed.
Today I am hunting far from the tribe, going high up the walls separating out home from the outside world. The cracks make it easy to climb and I travel hundreds of feet within an hour. High above, the juiciest beasts have crawled into the cracks, waiting to be killed. I will catch a thousand leg beasts, cut off its head and bring it back to the village for a feast. That is sure to catch the eye of the chief’s daughter, Zela. I have loved Zela since I was old enough to carry a spear. She is strong for a female, making me want her more then any other woman. She is from fine breed and will provide me with many sons to become hunters. I have got my future all planned out, marry Zela, raise a family and die when I have seen another hundred moons. It is a good life any man or woman wishes for in the Minanachy Tribe.
I have been climbing for hours and rest in one of the cracks along the great wall. I can see my whole village from here, tiny from my point of view. I wonder if the giant gods saw my village this way, just a collection of tiny huts you can hold in your hand. I watch my home wistfully, dreaming of Zela and making her mine. I am always alert for danger, but I am still caught off guard when the world starts to shake. I am nearly thrown from my spot and sent crashing to the ground hundreds of feet down, but I manage to hold on and move back, going deeper into the crack until my back hits something solid. I watch carefully, afraid of what I can’t understand.
Then I see it. The god door, the mile high door that sealed when the giant gods gave us this him, it was opening. For the first time ever it was being pushed open. I watch with terror. Not even the whole village could move the god door, what kind of beast could be strong enough to do it? Visions of giant beasties rush through my head as I clutch my spear to my chest. I might be nothing against whatever could move the god door, but I’d be damned if I let my village be slaughter. I hold my breath as the beast walks in.
“What have we got here?”
The booming human voice doesn’t shock me as much as the creature speaking it. The words mean nothing to me, not that they were important, what walked in was. It didn’t just look human, but also female. Soft white skin, so different then the dark tone of our own. Her shoes were longer then ours, going past her ankles halfway to her thighs. She wore the strangest loincloth I had ever seen; it clung to her bottom tightly like an extra skin. That was nothing compared to what she covered her chest with. I had never seen cloth that light blue or that tight before. It pushed against her bosom tightly, showing off every curve of the impressive chest. Her face was beautiful, much more then Zela’s face which paled in comparison. Her hair hung behind her head in a braid, swaying around as she looked around. The woman was incredible, but her beauty was not what left me speechless but her height. She was over a mile high.
She was enormous in ways that seemed unfathomable to me. If I had been on the ground I would have never been able to see much higher then her waste. Her massive breasts were bigger then my whole village. Why she could cover half the village with just one of her earthshaking feet. I had heard stories of the giant gods, how their hands could cover the sun and their footsteps shake the Earth, but I never imaged that anything could be this big.
I stared at the giantess, her beauty as unmatched as her height. Truly, she was one of the giant gods, here to bring us to a better life.
“Well Lara, what have you found this time?”
Her words mean nothing to me other then the second word she spoke. I think it’s her name, Lara. Such a simple name, for such a divine being. I want to follow her, worship her, give my life for her. Wordlessly I watch her as she moves, my voice lost in wonderment. What is the divine goddess Lara going to do next.
