As soon as Momo heard that sentence, the hope she had seemed to drain from her face. The thought of spending any more time with the feet that have been crushing her sounded like a death sentence to her. "Oh no! She wouldn't do this to me, could she?" Momo thought to herself. "I have to escape, but how?" As she was pondering this, she never saw Unohana begin to reach down for her. Momo finally noticed the growing shadow around her, but couldn't do anything to escape as she was grabbed by Unohana. "That's odd. Usually bugs run away when people try to grab them." said Unohana. "Maybe you do want to be my little foot pet. First, let's try to see what kind of bug you are. Don't want you to bite me when you're doing your job, do we?"
Momo was slowly brought up to the captain's eye. The first thing she saw was just how big the eye was compared to her. It was like looking at a four story building. She now understood just how insignificant she was compared to Unohana. "Dear kami. She's freaking huge compared to me. I doubt she will be able to see any kind of detail about me. Maybe she'll hear me, though. Hopefully I'm close enough to her face to be heard." thought Momo. "CAPTAIN UNOHANA! IT'S ME, MOMO! FOR SOME REASON, I'VE BEEN SHRUNK DOWN TO NEAR MICROSCOPIC SIZE! I TRIED GETTING YOUR ATTENTION EARLIER, BUT YOU WERE TOO BIG TO HEAR ME! PLEASE, HELP ME!" shouted Momo. Sadly, she still went unheard as Unohana muttered to herself. "Hmm... you seem like you can't bite me. Kinda hard to tell though. Oh well, you appear small enough that you can't break skin. And even if you do, I can just squash you flat. Other than that, you're perfect. Get ready for your new home."
Still keeping a grip on Momo so she couldn't get away, Unohana sat down and began to reach to take of her right sock. When she took it off, she saw the state it was in. "Oh dear. Looks like I might have to clean these soon. They look almost yellow. And the smell is pretty bad, too. Too bad I don't have much time to change them more often. I am always on my feet doing my duties, as well as taking care of the injured in fourth division. I almost feel sorry for you, my pet. You get to experience these first hand. All alone, with nothing but my feet and socks to keep you company. Hey! Maybe you can help me, my little pet. Maybe you can absorb some of the stink my socks have. After awhile, the stink will hopefully be cut down to a more bearable level. I knew it was a good idea to keep you." Momo, having already experienced the titanic captain's feet first hand, feared for the worst when she heard what Unohana said. The stink from when she was under them still lingered on her, and to hear that she would be spending a lot more time inside the socks instead of the outside of them made her struggle harder to escape Unohana's grip. "I have to get out of her hand now! If I don't, I'm going to be spending the rest of my life near those things." thought Momo. Meanwhile, Unohana continued talking. "Heck, maybe after awhile, I'll share you with some of the other females. I'm sure Rukia and Orihime could use you. They say they need something to help their feet, and it's my duty as a doctor to help them. Then there are some of the other female shinigami. I always thought my lieutenant could use something to help her relax after a hard day, and you would be perfect for her. Be careful, though. She has stinkier feet than I do. Not to mention bigger. Oh well, time for your new home."
Unohana opened her sock and moved the hand holding Momo over it. "Hope you enjoy it. You'll be staying here a long time." And with that, Unohana dropped Momo into her sock. To Momo, the fall felt like eternity to her, while in reality, it was only a couple of seconds. She soon landed into the toe section of the sock and the first thing she noticed was the smell. It was literally the worst thing she had ever smelled. It was like the smell on the outside of the sock magnified by ten. It alone nearly made her pass out. Next was the heat. It was as if she was in a furnace. The final thing she noticed was the sweat. It felt like a Shana in there from the feel of it, and was obvious that the sock absorbed most of it. "Well, looks like you're having fun. I hope you enjoy your home for the foreseeable future. You do look lonely, though. Don't worry. Your roommate is coming to meet you in a second." Momo heard above her. She barely had time to look up before the sock started turning and shaking her around. When it finally stopped, she looked back to the opening to see if she could escape, but was too late as Unohana's massive foot came barreling back in. Momo knew the only way to survive this was to get into a place where there was less pressure on her. "I can't believe I have to do this." she thought to herself. Carefully, she positioned herself so that she would get caught between the captain's big and second toe. It happened quickly. The foot crashed into her body and met the end of the sock. Meanwhile, Momo was between the toes as she had planned. The bad part was she had landed in a patch of toe jam that most would barely notice. "Eww! This is so gross." Momo said, but it quickly got worse. The toes started to clench and unclench as if to adjust the sock. This had the effect of shoving Momo into the patch and making her get stuck in it. Finally Unohana was ready to leave.
"I hope your ready for the rest of the day, my little bug. Don't forget to do your job and absorb the smell. Oh, and if you get hungry, there is some toe jam and lint you can eat and sweat in case you get thirsty." And with that, Unohana started to walk. To Momo, it was like riding a rollercoaster at high speed. She quickly resisted the urge to throw up, and tried to escape the toe jam she was in. As she tried, she noticed that the longer the captain walked, the worse it got for her. The toes she was between started to sweat more. The stench started getting more and more unbearable. The heat started rising exponentially. All of this due to Unohana just going about her day. Momo was truelly suffering at this moment.
