What Started as a Game....

Naruto looked nervously around, Unohana's room was large to be sure but it was at best 20x20 which while large for a bedroom wasn't exactly much to work with in a game such as this.
"Ready?" Unohana repeated again, this time sounding impatient. Somewhat nervously Naruto nodded and braced himself.
Foot still in the air Unohana quickly slammed it into the wooden floor, not holding back in the least. Expecting nothing less Naruto managed to leap away in time, barely in time though. Unohana's stomp rivaled the greatest Sonido Naruto had ever seen, he could see it, predict it's course, but acting fast enough was an issue. To worsen matters Unohana restricted all forms of his powers, it didn't hit the arrancar til then but she rigged the game due to this.
Landing a couple floorboards away from Unohana Naruto took off running full speed, his target Unohana's bed. His reasoning was that if he could make it Unohana's feet couldn't reach him, simple but effective. The Captain was quick though, in a few seconds she was already chasing the arrancar with stomps, each one coming inches away from nearly killing him.
Looking over his shoulder Naruto saw each stomp come close to grazing him, to ending the game. On some level he was happy he was untouched but a quick look at Unohana removed all joy. She was smiling softly with her eyes closed, walking slowly as if there was nothing to fear, she was toying with the arrancar. At anytime she wished she could catch him under foot, but the game was just getting too fun.
"You've lasted about two minutes, only fifty-eight to go!" The giantess teased as another stomp came dangerously close to Naruto.
Looking away from Unohana Naruto glanced at his target again, he was roughly halfway there. In one Sonido he could make it but sadly he was restricted from using such things. Every few seconds a sudden waft of air accompanied by a boom told Naruto that his latest caretaker took another step towards him. Each stomp easily held enough force to crush him, least if it wasn't for the arrancar's Hierro, at the moment he was thanking god for giving Arrancars this blessing.
It may not have been apparent to Unohana who was merely toying with him but Naruto saw a problem with his situation. He was already running full speed and Unohana was at best going 1/100, this wasn't the problem, What was the problem was that she seemed to be slowly speeding up, what was once coming inches away from him now came centimeters from touching Naruto. If nothing would be done soon it would be over.
Fate finally gave the arrancar a blessing though, as this realization hit him Naruto was just before Unohana's bed. He had become so lost in thought he failed to notice he had reached his target. It was the final stretch and Naruto instinctively knew Unohana would speed up to catch him.
In a last act of desperation the arrancar leapt forward, everything suddenly slowing down as if time itself had slowed to a crawl. As Naruto predicted Unohana sped up for this last bit, well over triple what she had been doing before. Her socked foot was coming in like an unstoppable force of nature but in Naruto's heightened sense of time it was amazingly slow.
He could see it all, every fiber, every dirt clumb, every bead of sweat present on Unohana's socked sole. Beyond it she wore a victorious smile and her eyes were open, her lips were parting to say something...."I win."
In his enlightened moment Naruto felt no fear, no nervousness. A part of him knew how this would play out and it played just as he had envisioned.
It came mere milimeters from making contact but Naruto was not touched by Unohana's foot and successfully ended up beneath her bed. Behind him nothing could be heard past the loud boom of the stomp and the creaking sound coming from the floorboard.
Naruto laughed, he had seemed to have won. Beneath Unohana's bed her feet couldn't reach him, he was safe and victorious. He felt safe again, somehow this playful game turned into a fight for survival, at least to Naruto at the moment. If he had been hit he was just going to get healed, that much was certain but it still felt as if his neck was on the line.
Naruto felt secure, safe, until he saw it. The slender pillar-like digits that were the Captain's fingers wrapped around the edge of the bed. The next moment the hiding place Naruto chose was slowly being lifted in the air.
In moments Unohana was holding the bed above her, using both hands to hold it with ease as her foot raised ever so slowly.
Naruto didn't move, his jaw was agap and he was stunned, either on the development or the sight of Unohana's strength. "You cheated...."
Unohana shook her head as she wore her victorious smile. " I did no such thing. I said I would catch you with my feet, I never said I wouldn't use my hands at some point." She took a quick look at the clock on her wall. "You lasted ten minutes and thirty-seven seconds. Congratulations but....." Unohana lowered her foot, too fast for Naruto to react so it came upon him. Unohana's foot was now on top of him and the sock cloth between her toes wrapped around him. "I win."
As fast as it came upon him Unohana's foot removed itself too, revealing Naruto who was still stunned. Surprisinly the arrancar leapt up and started laughing. "Ya got me!"
Smiling gently Unohana began lowering her bed back down, nudging Naruto back into the open via her foot. "I did win, it was fun while it lasted."
"What now?"
Unohana smiled at him again, "Well I said if I won I would keep you in the loop of my hair braid for the night.....
