Maid battle! Hisui & Kohaku VS Leysritt & Sella Type-Moon Size Interactive chapter 8 by copier · original author: fxd-001

"The next round will be a 2-on-2 wrestling match in the big city! Also, to make sure that the fight is fair, no supernatural powers or weapons are allowed. You'll fight eachother using only your natural physical strength. Whichever side manages to make the other team tap out first wins! Teamwork will be vital for victory here, so pick whoever you think will be the best for the job." Neco Arc said before vanishing in a puff of smoke.

"How did she even do that?" Satsuki asked, confused by the contest's announcer disappearing into thin air.

"She dragged us here from our own worlds and managed to turn us all into giantesses. Teleporting seems pretty mundane compared to that." Ciel said with a sigh.

"Anyway, all that stuff aside, we've gotta select our pairings for the next round." Tohsaka said. She then turned her attention to Arcueid and smiled. "That was a good match we had, vampire. Maybe we can face off again some time."

"I'm open for a rematch any time you are. But it'll have to wait until after we win this tournament." Arcueid said with a smirk.

"Don't get cocky just yet. You've only won the first round, and there are still four more to go. Team Fate isn't going to lose as easily as you think!" Tohsaka replied with a similar smirk on her face.

"And I wouldn't have it any other way. Victory just isn't as sweet if it's too easy to achieve. You were pretty good out there, but you'll need to do much better if you want to defeat us."

"Well then, I guess that settles that. We'll both go out and give it our all, and whoever wins in the end, no hard feelings."

"Yep. May the best team win." Arcueid said, nodding in agreement.

The two adversaries then shook hands before parting ways, having gained a newfound respect for eachother after having faced off on the field of battle. Tohsaka then proceeded to walk back to where the rest of her team was assembled.

"Now that that's out of the way, I think that we should decide who we'll be using for this round. Like the cat said, we need two people with perfect teamwork. A pair that knows eachother's strengths and weaknesses, and how to back them up. I think that there's only one choice that really makes sense for a competition like this." Akiha said, looking toward her two maids with a smile.

"You want us to do this?! Sure we're twins, and we know eachother better than anyone else in the world, but wouldn't it make more sense to pick someone with more combat experience?" Kohaku questioned.

"Well the only two of us who really have any experience fighting are Ciel and I, and do you really want to put us on a team together?" Arcueid said, pointing at Ciel.

"Ugh, she's right... Those two would spend more time tearing eachother apart than fighting the other team... We really are the only choice..." Hisui said reluctantly.

"Then it's decided. Hisui and Kohaku, it's all up to you." Ciel said.

"Alright, we'll do our best!" the two maids said in unison, a determined expression on both of their faces.

Over on Team Fate, things were going similarly. Not of the members were particularly well acquainted with eachother, and those who were on good terms with eachother were closer to rivals than true partners. In the end, they also found that teamwork only really existed in one place.

"Just leave it to my maids! They're both homunculi specifically created to work together and serve as my bodyguards. They'll be more than capable of winning this match for us!" Illya said confidently, waving a hand toward Leysritt and Sella.

"But they aren't even major characters! How are a couple of sidecharacters like them going to win us anything?" Taiga said.

"Well, you're one to talk. Your role isn't that major yourself. Anyway, the shrimp seems pretty confident in their abilities, and it's not like we've got any better options. I say we give the maids a chance." Rider said.

"You won't be disappointed. In the name of our master, Illyasviel von Einzbern, we shall not lose." The two homunculi said in unison as they bowed to the rest of their team.

After both teams had selected their representatives, the rubble of the two cities from the previous round disappeared. In its place, a single gigantic city sprung from the ground. The two pairs of maids walked toward their arena and prepared to face off. Round two of the Greatest Goddess Competition was about to get underway.

Before we proceed to describe the ensuing battle, who do you want to win?
