Going Home With Jaz Cheating Death chapter 19 by copier · original author: spiralwriter

After the group of goddess's had a brief conversation, the deicsion was made. Jaz would be the one to take care of you for the evening. akin, with her usual gentleness, moved her finger as delicately as she could to Jaz's own fingernail. They waited patiently as you walked over, trading one world for the next, each one starkly contrasting one another. Lakin's skin wasteland was evenly tanned, Jaz's was a decadent brown color. You gazed heavenward, still trying to adjust to your new height, the most mundane of things now staggering. Jaz's bespectacled face peered down at you, smiling a forced smile as you could tell. Everyone was glad you were safe, but they would have to adjust to your new stature as well, to be as careful around you as they could, to prevent your 1/100th inch self from becoming anymore micro. One word too loud could blow your brains. One misguided sneeze could send you flying. You gulped, but you knew you were safe. You trusted these friends, and they would protect you.

They all exchanged goodbyes with one another, said goodbye to you, and you all went your seperate ways until school tomorrow. Jaz drove home by herself in a beat up punch buggy, using one hand to steer, the other still carefully holding you on it's index fingernail.

When she arrived, her home appeared empty, except for sounds coming from the kitchen."That you, baby?"An older woman's voice called out.

"Yeah mom, just heading to my room. I'm kinda tired today."Jaz replied to her mother, making a beeline straight to her room, closing the door behind her.

She plopped down onto a beanbag in the corne, bringing her finger up to hover it in front of her eye. Just like Lakin's, it was like all of heaven filling the void in front of you, except this time it was darker."Geez Lu, you sure know how to make a girl worry, don't you?"She said in hushed tone, as not to hurt you.

"Yeah...sorry about that."You yelled back, rubbing the back of your neck out of embarressment.

Jaz sighed, and smiled."Well, at least nobody can actually call me the smallest of our little group of friends now, can they, Shorty?"She teased with a light laugh. Usually she would be using insults much more heavier than this, but considering the day's events, she had decided to take it easy on you......Just this once.

You chuckled back in reply."Sooo.....what now?"You ask. Jaz shrugged."We talk of anime, of course."Her grin widened. You had to smirk at that. Even with this strange new setting, your relationship hadn't changed."Fine. What topic? What anime's make good videogames? What games would make good anime? Who would win in a fight?"You ask, now fully calm inside. All of the fear and anxiety that overtook you earlier was now completely gone, the turmoil of the storm had passed and settled into relaxed waters.

{Later That Night...{/i}

After hours of chatting of your nerd passion, Jaz's eyes had strayed to the alarm clock across on her desk."Holy shit....midnight?!"She cried, your conversation taking up an seven hour chunk of the day.

"We....we seriously need to find new hobbies."You laughed.

Jaz looked down at you with mock despair."Give up anime? I can't even begin to comprehend the thought...."

Another shared laugh. Jaz stood up and stretched, settling you on her bedside table."DON'T move. Cause' if I can't find you now, and if I DO find you later on, your microscopic ass it getting stomped."

She entered her closet and shut the door. You were a tad dissapointed, but you knew it was extremely perverted to think of it. She was your friend, after all.

Minutes later, she returned, now garbed in a gray bra and matching shorts. Even though the sleeping attire didn't match your thoughts earlier, it came pretty close. You gulped as you resisted the urge of blood rushing down below. She came over to her bedside table, and after a few seconds of her eyes roving over in search of you, she found you and settled her finger once again next to you, and you climbed on. She then herself settled into her bed, eying you with a curious expression.

".....W-what?"You ask after an awkward minute or so.

"Nothing. Just thinking of where I should put you to sleep, shorty. I can't lose you after just one afternoon. Now, it has to be someplace secure, someplace that if I looked there again, I'd find you...."
