...Well, this was hardly ideal, Aliyah decided. The young human woman staring suspiciously up at her didn't seem like she would be eagerly dissuaded... yet as a warrior of justice, a noble and upstanding paragon of virtue, Aliyah could hardly fault the student who was only inquiring into her friend's whereabouts.
"...Very well. Follow me." Aliyah said after a pause, turning on her heel and marching away, her big, round belly swaying with each power-filled step.
"Wait, really?"
Aliyah paused, glancing over her shoulder at the detective girl.
"Yes. Is that such a surprise? You don't seem to be the type to let this go easily."
"You bet your bonnet I'm not, lady! ...But... Thanks. If you're really willing to be straight with you, I won't hassle you. I just want to know if my friend is alright."
"Oh, he's fine... more or less. He's certainly safe, that's for suuRP! ...Pardon me," Aliyah mumbled, covering her mouth with one hand. Though Fallon could still see the pink hue to the busty woman's cheeks.
"...And are you going to explain your, ah... state of utter repletion?" Aliyah's cheeks darkened further, but the tall blonde still resolutely met Fallon's gaze. A gaze the angel was pleased to note was now less naked suspicion and more genuine curiosity.
"Er... yes, I was getting to that. I assure you, the two questions are more connected than you might be inclined to believe."
"...Okay, now this is one mystery I can't puzzle out. Please enlighten me, oh mighty eater!" Fallon snorted, earning a soft laugh from the overfull angel.
"Alright, but do try to keep up. I do have business to attend to here in the city.

"Wow... that's really him, isn't it?"
"It- ooh! It is, Miss Bronze. And do kindly stop prodding my b-belly. You're going to make me burp again, and we're in front of so many people," Aliyah grumbled, gently swatting away the prying fingers from her overloaded tummy.
"I have to say, there are certainly worse places for him to be. If what you're telling me is true, it sounds like he was a little too close to summoning something he couldn't control. ...And don't call me Miss Bronze, that makes me sound old! Just 'Fallon,' thank you very much."
"That's the gist of it," Aliyah agreed. gently stroking the tiny lump on her rotund belly. Blake shivered happily but remained silent... which was natural, given that she'd used magic to silence his voice for the time being. Still, it was good to see that he seemed to have taken his imprisonment in stride. He'd be out sooner thanks to his good behavior if he kept this up.
"As it stands, I'll be quite busy tracking down evildoers and practitioners of foul magic. While I'm glad that Blake was a false alarm, it doesn't change the fact that there are dangerous forces at play in New Opal."
"Say no more, Fallon Bronze is on the case!"
"W-what?"
"Oh, don't you give me that. I live here! Is it surprising to hear that I want to protect my home and my friends?"
"...I suppose not. Very well. If you can help me thwart the evil at play in New Opal, you will earn my gratitude, Miss- Fallon," Aliyah corrected.
The much shorter orange-haired girl stuck out a hand.
"...What? Don't tell me they don't have handshakes where your from?"
"No, my apologies." Aliyah replied, grabbing Fallon's hand and shaking vigorously.
"W-whew, you've certainly got an iron grip," Fallon winced. "Looks like you aren't lying about being a righteous warrior and all that. Well, I'm ready if you are, partner! Shall we set off? The game is afoot!"
"Yes, let us not dawdle any long- BuuuuRP!" Aliyah's words were cut off as the angel belched loudly as Fallon's hand pressed right into the center of the huge, bloated belly, right over Blake.
"...What? Just making sure Blake is okay."
"...I would appreciate a word of warning in the future, Fallon. Now, if that's all... let's be off!"
