"You gotta admit, this is pretty funny," Indigo said with a giggle as she brushed Citrine's hand aside to get another look at Blake.
However, Blake was having trouble seeing the funny side. "I-Indigo! Come on, I'm literally stuck in here! I can't get out without my spellbook!" He kicked and squirmed again, this time to emphasise his displeasure at being stuck in Citrine's pudgy belly. He and Indigo heard the gamer girl moan faintly in response, which made the bespectacled bookworm laugh even more.
"Did that feel good, Citrine?" Indigo asked the chubby gamer girl, taking her eyes off of Blake as little as possible. "Little guy wiggling around in your belly?"
Citrine was already blushing from both the way Blake's struggles felt inside her belly and the loud gurgles her belly was making right in front of Indigo's face, but her best friend's teasing just made her feel even more awkward. She had come here expecting some advice or insight. Instead, Indigo seemed to find the whole thing entertaining in some weird way. She needed to get things back on track.
"Um ... look, I ... I know this is kinda ... unusual, but-" Citrine began stammering.
"Unusual?" Indigo interrupted, unable to contain her excitement. "A politician who keeps his promises is unusual. A movie sequel that's better than the original is unusual. One of my friends turning himself into soda, getting guzzled by my best friend, and now just wobbling and jiggling away in my bestie's belly? That's completely unheard of!" She gently placed a finger where Blake was to feel his struggles for herself. The sensation made her giggle again.
"Stop it, Indigo!" Blake protested. "I'm not just a bit of belly fat for you and Citrine to play with! I'm a human being! I have my own life to-" Suddenly, the trapped mage screamed as he found himself being shaken up and down again just like when Citrine jiggled her belly earlier. This time, however, it was Indigo who was playing with Citrine's plump belly.
"Hey Citrine, look! He's even more jiggly than the rest of your belly, and that's saying something!" Indigo had the biggest grin on her face. When Citrine came to her asking for help, she thought that her best friend was in trouble or that she needed some advice about a guy she had a crush on. But this? This was just too good!
"Uh, Indigo? There's something I forgot to mention," Citrine said weakly to try to get her best friend's attention. The two girls may not have been lovers, but their friendship did involve a certain degree of physical closeness. However, Indigo's behaviour right now was weird even by those standards. Admittedly, part of Citrine kinda liked it, but she still wasn't sure if it was right for the kind of relationship they had.
"Ah, sorry, got a bit carried away there," Indigo apologised as she took her hand away from her best friend's belly, which groaned as it settled back into place. "So what's this thing you forgot to mention?"
"Well, the thing is, Blake told me he was trying to find a magic spell that would ... impress me? Does that mean he ... likes me or something?" Doubt began to creep into Citrine's voice. However, she then noticed a warm feeling coming from Blake's spot on her belly like when she jiggled it in front of her mirror earlier. Was that him blushing? "He ... he really does, doesn't he. But then why do all this stuff with magic or whatever?"
"Well, I've known Blake for a while," Indigo said, her tone much more serious now even if she was still smiling, "and he's never been all that confident when it comes to dating." She chuckled when Blake gave an indignant little kick in response to that - it was true, but hearing his friend state it so plainly still stung a bit. "But underneath that shy, awkward exterior, he's a really sweet guy. He's been a great friend to me and I'm sure he would be a great boyfriend to you. That is, if you're interested in him in that way."
Suddenly, getting out of Citrine's plump, noisy belly was the second-biggest concern Blake had. Did the gamer girl feel the same way about him as he did about her? Was she only interested in him as a friend? Or had she gotten to like him as living belly fat so much that that's all she wanted him to be?
