The fuzz around Blake's head was still thick and stormy, oozing over him as an egg yolk might. But he could very clearly feel a set of eyes staring him down - even without magic, he just had that sense moving up what qualified as a spine, mushy and wriggly as it was. A breath on him, and even a little shimmer, like the way light would reflect off a smile.
He looked into the distance and saw his mother's face staring back. "Looks like I got up first, pill. Good morning! Your cure worked."
Blake went into a cold sweat. "Mom, I thought you promised to take me out before I digested fully! This IS digested fully!"
A finger prodded around the meaty mass surrounding him, various cells jiggling and squirming before at last settling into something resembling peace, punctuated with continually pounding heartbeats and breaths. "That was before realizing how soothing you feel. If you get out now... I'm bound to feel sick again. I need to be on my feet."
And indeed, she was up and moving around the house. She continued to perform a few quick chores in her sports bra and shorts, which tightly hugged her form and exposed the boy's little pocket of pudge.
He panted. "Okay, thankfully I have an escape spell. It was... It was, uh... Outta... Winga... What was it...?"
Claire burped slightly. She was able to cover it with a hand, but the wind power still rumbled through her internal environment, rattling Blake to a frazzled shock. "I ate it."
"You ATE it?"
"Digested it, more like. It turns out, I can absorb thoughts? Just some insurance so you don't disobey me and get out on your own accord."
Sweat poured over his little spot in her tummy. He tried his best to shake and sway out. "But now I might never get out! I'll never see the girl of my dreams! Aria... Or, uh, Goldie? Was it Indigo...? I-I-I can't even remember who... I can't remember her face...!?"
Claire wiped her lips. "I consumed that knowledge, too. She seemed like a bad influence. You should stay safe in here for now."
Blake felt like he was melting in the continually swaying, shifting presence. He sunk down, his spirit still boiling with embarrassment, but needing a moment to process it all...
