“Geez…” At her current size, Nora struggled to prevent her magnified volume from causing any more unnecessary damage. Hearing the shattering of windows below wasn’t helping matters, but she dialed it down to more of a whisper. “I’m used to feeling on top of the world, but this is just ridiculous! As much as I hate to say it, that pipsqueak I’m always picking on might know how to shrink me back to normal…”

Blake gulped nervously. Even with the chubby giantess lowering her voice, he knew she was referring to him. As her massive, earth-shaking footsteps approached the dorms, the young man felt like this was it: his mage secret was about to leak out to the entire world, all because of his own failure to read the growth spell’s fine print.

With a worried sigh, Blake turned back to his ancient tome. “I need to brew up an antidote before…”

The sound of the roof being forcibly ripped from the rest of the building cut him off.

“…Nora finds me…ugh!”

Before he could even consider his options, Blake felt Nora’s titanic hand snatching up his entire form, and he unceremoniously ended up quivering at eye level, atop her palm. The mage closed his eyes and braced himself for an even harsher beating than usual…

“Hey, runt! I kinda need your help…”

Surprised at the words, yet still rather cautious, Blake opened his eyes once more. Nora looked unusually desperate!

“I’m not sure how I got so big, but I have a feeling you might be able to fix this. You’re always mumbling weird stuff outside of class…are you a magician or something?”

Oh, dear lord…she HAD to ask that dangerous question. Blake was uncertain how to respond; did he dare reveal his deepest secret and risk incurring the wrath of Nora Comet?
