Indigo read her book with great zeal: "The Tale of Isshunboshi." It was a childhood favorite of hers and she always reread it over and over again. Indigo liked the idea of having a tiny sutor doing almost anything for her. She finished reading the chapter she was on. It was the chapter where the hero, Isshunboshi, finally made it to the palace to meet the princess, right before she would be put under a spell and Isshunboshi would have to enter the stomach of a dangerous Oni.
Indigo closed her book and stood up. She set the book on her bedside table, turned on her PC, sighed as she pulled back her chair, then sat down on it. She had a few assignments to complete before the weekend was up, and she wanted to be able to study freely without distractions. She pulled up a few discussions she still needed to do and began typing her thoughts on the chapter.
While she was typing, Indigo thought she saw something out of the corner of her eye moving. She didn't really care too much but shifted in her seat. She realized she had crossed her legs when she sat down. She adjusted her posture to be more efficient and kept typing. A moment later, Indigo stopped typing when she thought she heard something. It was almost like a cheer. Indigo looked around with her eyes but decided it was nothing. It was by now that something felt off. Was she being watched? Indigo turned her head from side to side and inspected her dorm room. No one was inside, and her windows were closed. Indigo pouted, puffing out a cheek as she idly looked down. That's when she saw it. It was... It was...
