"I absorbed all the answers from your brain!"
The declaration startled Blake - even more than his lack of body, and being bound to his own sister. "But that's... It shouldn't work that way, right?"
Jade giggled. It made Blake's tightened cell shimmy and quiver. "Pffft. It just did! I needed to learn about how the brain processes information, all its different components - and you had all that lying around in your noggin, not using any of it. It's best for me to have it!"
Blake would hold his head if he still had hands. As is, he just bumped around, jostling the sacs of meaty buildup that surrounded him every which way. "You can't just absorb memories from people's heads."
He let out a sharp squeal as he felt her palm pressing in from the other side. It bumped the mass of tissue inwards, as she continued walking through the halls. A slight pat - the percussion on him was like a drum. "Can't, or won't?"
"Both!" Blake struggled to push back against the sisterly fingers. It was now rubbing him in circles, squeezing him in deeper. The pressure was hard for him to bear, but he could still think through it. And he shared it with Jade: "You don't just learn things by EATING them."
Jade's voice rang through his ears. "Oh? And how does the brain learn stuff?"
"That's easy! Uh..." He started thinking. "It... goes through the... uh..."
How DO you pick up information?
Jade asked again, wiggling his lumpy spot as she walked through the halls. "What part of the brain holds memories?"
"That's the... The..."
What parts did a brain have?
Why couldn't he remember this?
Jade laughed. "You don't know anymore, do you? Because I gobbled those facts up from your tasty little brain."
Blake was speechless. He felt himself sinking back. He kept wondering, how did she do this?
"You're thinking, how did she do this? I just absorbed your thoughts there!"
Blake yelled, only muffled by her palm.
Jade laughed again. "Kidding! I just know that because I'm your sister. But now that the exam's all over, and I'm totally sure you got me the pass I needed..."
