The foot that landed near Blake was a dark stocking. Its raven expanse thrusted upwards - way up, into the sky. Above the thigh, past a small bit of "absolute territory" revealed flesh glistened in the candlelight. And above that, a slim, dark top. The shadows not only loomed over Blake; but made him wonder if the giantess above could even see him, if he was caught in its own shadow, as her sole descended.

"Wo-aOAH!"

Blake dove away from the incoming stomp. He had no idea if he made it. He was seeing red, a soft red that totally seized him, and black. The mage felt himself lifting into the air, and heard the pound of a heavenly drum...

And slowly gained inventory of it. That black was that top. The gleam of red was curly hair, flowing out like rivers. And that drum was the beat of a heart, slow breaths above him. He looked up to see Celica from Fire Emblem Echoes peering down!

"I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking. I'd just been in battle..."

He could see that - this was different from her normal, white armor. She must've had it damaged in combat, this was what she looked like under her armor in Warriors.

Blake nodded. "Are you hurt, then, princess?"

Celica smiled. "Ah! You're already aware. You catch on fast for a summoned hero! Thankfully I can rest for just a moment."

He shook his head, a little flustered at her praise. "I'm really not a hero. I'm a mage named Blake, I'm not supposed to be here..."

She nodded quietly, looking around. "I know what it's like, being somewhere you feel you shouldn't. Having to keep secrets close to your heart. Should someone notice you, things could turn dire..."

Blake gulped. "Isn't there someplace you can keep me safe?"

The redhead looked around furtively. She blushed. Blake noticed her hand below was starting to get a little sweaty. "There may be more people coming soon. I think I know the perfect place for you."
