As the spoon started to pass Claire's lips, Blake feared that his mom hadn't heard him and that she was going to unwittingly eat him. It wasn't until he was within touching distance of her lips that the spoon stopped advancing and he heard a "Huh?" The spoon then retreated so Claire could take a look at what was on it and her eyes widened when she saw her shrunken son.
"Blake? What are you ... how did you ... why are you ..." Claire was so shocked at what she saw that she couldn't decide which of her many questions to ask.
"Mom! I accidentally shrunk myself and I need you to help me get back to normal size!" Blake answered, hoping that his mother would only care about solving his problem and not ask too many questions. Not just because he was wary of revealing too much about his magic and what he did with it, but also because every word Claire spoke blew more of her smelly breath in his face.
"How do you accidentally shrink yourself?" Claire asked with a puzzled look as she plucked Blake off of her spoon before putting it in her mouth and munching on the mouthful of cereal.
"I ... that's not important right now," Blake replied as he watched Claire chew the cereal he had just shared a spoon with. "I just need your help getting back to normal!" He was mentally begging her to let this go, but when he saw the stern expression on her face after she swallowed her food, his heart sank.
"Come on, Blake," Claire said. "Tell me what's going on." As she ate another spoonful of cereal, it became clear that the only thing Blake was going to get by trying to dodge the question was more of his mom's morning breath.
"Alright," Blake explained slowly and anxiously as Claire continued to eat her breakfast. "There's this girl I like at college, and I really want her to like me. Only thing is, I'm not a tough guy or very strong, so I ... well, I summoned some spirits to help me, and they promised to make me so tough I can't come to any physical harm, but at the cost of my size. As you can see, I took that deal. I ... I thought she'd be impressed by how tough I am. Only thing is, they were supposed to teleport me to her, but instead I'm here with you. When I got here, you were finishing your morning exercises, so I thought the best way to let you know I was here was by getting in your cereal."
Once Claire finished her last mouthful of cereal, she set Blake down on the table, picked up the bowl, and drank the milk from it. She needed a moment to digest her son's story while she digested her breakfast. When Blake looked up, all he could see was his mother's throat expand and contract rhythmically as she gulped up all the milk. Each bulge that formed in her throat disappeared behind the giant breasts directly in front of him. He blushed as he realised just how close he was to them. It didn't last long, however, as once Claire put down the empty bowl, she lifted her tiny son back up to her mouth.
"What you did was incredibly reckless, young man." When Claire spoke, it wasn't the yells or growls of an angry person, but the disappointed tone of someone who expected better mixed with the worried voice of someone imagining the worst-case scenario. "Even if you're impervious to physical harm, you could still get lost or taken away and no-one would be able to find you. What if these ... spirits teleported you to a zoo and you got eaten by one of the animals? I wouldn't even think that had happened because I didn't even know you could talk to spirits and make these kinds of deals with them! I'd never see you again! Or what if the spirits teleported you to this girl's bathroom just as she got out of the shower? Do you think she'd be happy to see a tiny peeping tom? I just ..."
Claire stopped her lecture to take a few deep breaths. It was at this point that she noticed Blake trying to cover his nose. She realised it must have been because her breath stank. At first, she thought about apologising for the smell, but then she got an idea.
"I have to go to work today," Claire continued, "but I also have to make sure you're safe, and I have to make sure you don't do anything this irresponsible again. So you are going to spend the day in my mouth." Blake's jaw dropped when he heard his mom's plan for him. There was no way he could go the whole day trapped in there with the smell of her breath!
"No! Please! Anything but that!" Blake pleaded, but it was no use. Claire's mouth was wide open and, before he could say anything else, he was tossed inside. Once he landed on her tongue, his world went dark as his mom's lips snapped shut. With no escape, Blake was forced to inhale the humid, smelly air around him. However, it wasn't long before he discovered another problem with his predicament.
"Mmmmmmmmmmm!"
Where Claire's mouth was fairly still and calm for Blake a moment ago, now it was a whirlwind of movement. Her jaw was going through the motions of chewing and, although her teeth missed Blake, her tongue was tossing him around like a ragdoll and pressing itself against the tiny mage, eager to savour as much of his flavour as possible. Saliva, simultaneously sticky and slippery, gradually began to fill the mouth. Throughout all of this, Blake heard the occasional "Mmm" from his mom. She was enjoying his taste and it wouldn't be long before she had to swallow! Blake had to get out of her mouth before that happened.
The good news: Claire realised that keeping Blake in her mouth for the day wasn't going to work. The question is, did she let him out?
