A trio of bossy, successful middle-aged women bully a bunch of tinier, younger, far less successful girls.

~ Cats and Mice ~

~ Prelude ~

The goal of Cats and Mice is to build a primarily F/f sizeplay interactive story which explores conflict between generations and classes through the lens of the usual macro fetish fuel. It hopes to become a sprawling fetish tale about arrogant rich girlbosses having their way with a bunch of smaller, younger, poorer women. The story opens with 8 suggested characters, but you have full freedom to add your own down the line.

Cats and Mice takes place in modern-day America, although you’re more than welcome to have the characters travel. The country has been struck by the Spontaneous Shrinking Phenomenon… you’ve heard this one before. Some people became tiny and now they are trying to get their lives back on track, and some other people – those who weren’t affected – are stomping all over those tracks.

~ The Giantesses ~

(A couple of quick notes. Appearance descriptions are intentionally vague to leave little details to the reader. If this happens to spawn minor inconsistencies down the line… blame those on me! The Goals are given to contextualize the character’s current motivation. The story doesn’t ever have to reach the goals, or discuss them at any length; they are simply there as a crutch to move stuff along. You should feel free to ignore them.)

Jennifer Copeland is the #girlboss trope personified: she’s a rich, white, newly single 44 year old entrepreneur from Florida who’s made it and can now happily live off investments. A socialite located in a large, trendy American city, she has many friends, most of whom are just like her. She is, of course, immune to that recent random shrinking phenomenon, and she believes there’s divine providence in that. Most of Jennifer’s time is spent in casual conversation with people who matter, that is, investment bankers, politicians, lawyers and the occasional eccentric artist. Copeland is also a conservative donor, which created an immense rift between her and her only child, Lily, who’s currently a struggling journalist for a socialist online outlet.

Jennifer’s goal for this week is to lobby for Small World, a company that runs various tests on tiny humans under the guise of pro-tiny research. She’ll have an opportunity to do that at Catherine’s party.

Jennifer is tall, blonde, white, tan and athletic. She wears perfectly tailored pantsuits and expensive athletic wear. She likes natural colors when it comes to hair dye and nails. Her favorite shoes tend to be flat mules, Birkenstock sandals and comfy sneakers.

The circle of Jennifer’s friends changes month to month. Her closest friends at the moment are two women from her cycling class.

Catherine Burke is a Russian immigrant married to a rich big tech CEO; in her old life, she used to be known as Ekaterina Samoylova. She is 40 and has two teen kids who are usually left to a legion of nannies; given how busy Catherine’s husband is, she tends to be left to her own devices, and she leads a hedonistic lifestyle. She frequently organizes parties and likes extravagant events. A cunning, sharp woman, she knows how to make connections and use them well; her English is perfect, never betraying her origin. Burke and Copeland connected over their mutual love for a good, classy social outing.

Catherine’s goal for this week is to enjoy herself as much as she can and prepare to throw a massive party on Sunday.

Catherine is radiating femininity, from her manners to her style. Fancy boutique wear, dresses, jewelry, tiny impractical purses; it all makes her akin to a butterfly. She’s shorter and paler than Jennifer. She’s a brunette. She almost always wears high-heeled sandals or boots during the day and switches to fluffy slippers in the evening.

Sana Jones completes the trio; she is a head scientist with the Small World Corporation, and she studies the shrinking phenomenon. Her position comes with generous compensation; besides, she is often hired as a consultant. Her father was an immigrant from Egypt and worked very hard to give her the opportunities she had; Sana is hard on herself and even harder on the people around her. She used to be a kinder person, but the money and power that came with her ascension at Small World have changed her outlook on life; now 42, she now firmly believes that in the end, the smart and the capable deserve to rule the world. Jones and Copeland have been friends ever since Copeland dropped an Atlas Shrugged reference during casual conversation.

Sana’s goal for this week is to finish a paper for a press-release which Jennifer and Catherine can organize and use to present at Catherine’s party.

Sana is brown-skinned, dark-haired, slightly more rounded than Catherine and less athletic than Jennifer. She wears glasses. She prefers comfortable business casual clothing and often defaults to dress shirts or turtlenecks. In footwear, she tends to go with either sturdy boots, low chunky heels, or platform sandals.

These are confident, arrogant, well-off women around the same age, with similar priorities in life; by chance, as the Shrinking Phenomenon spreads, they come across a few tiny, younger women who displease them in one way or another. It can be assumed that all three of them are at least a little decadent and may behave somewhat irrationally around tinies. None of their soon-to-be-victims know each other yet, and there’s no guarantee they ever will. Let’s give them a second in the spotlight.

~ The Tinies ~

(The size of all tinies is between half an inch and an inch in height)

Evie Dale, 24, is a tinkerer and a vacuum driver. Yes, that’s right. Before she shrank, she trained to work in construction, following in her uncle’s footsteps; the shrinking happened right after she had her forklift lessons. Ever optimistic, she spent her savings on a mod kit and a robot vacuum - the round, automatic kind. She converted the robot, attaching a little cabin with a full set of controls. Her services are a novelty, but enough people are intrigued that she makes some money to survive on: it turns out there’s something cool about having a real tiny woman drive a vacuum cleaner around your apartment (and she gets it done faster than a robot would). Most recently, Evie has been hired by Jennifer Copeland, who didn’t read the ad properly and assumed she’s getting a real house cleaner. Evie’s goal for this week is to earn some money so she can pay her rent.

Evie is white, stout, tomboyish and has curly brown hair

Lily Copeland, Jennifer’s 25 year old daughter, is a journalist who writes for an online socialist publication, End of an Empire. She’d always been a rebel and she hates the idea of ever turning into her mom. She rejects her mother’s attempts to reconnect and doesn’t take any money from Jennifer. The girl’s got lots of pride and she’s not gonna swallow it… or so she thought, but on one fateful morning her SmartWatch informs her she’s about to shrink. Standing in the middle of her apartment, Lily’s trying to figure out what to do. Lily’s goal this week is to find someone to help her through her first week shrunken.

Lily is a younger copy of her blonde, tall mom, except less athletic and more haphazard.

Nadine Page is a 19 year old college student majoring in English. Nadine’s mother is a cook at the Burke household; a few days ago, she came to Catherine Burke in a crisis – she had to leave town for a few days to attend to the needs of her grandparents a few states over, but she could not take the tiny Nadine with her. Catherine’s a big fan of Mrs. Page’s cooking, so she decided to be benevolent and agreed for Nadine to move it for a couple of weeks, “provided she’s not too needy”. The next morning, Mrs. Page brought her daughter… in a microwave-sized living unit, which she left in the vestibule of Catherine’s top floor apartment! Catherine hasn’t seen it yet… Nadine’s goal this week is to get settled and behave well enough that her mom doesn’t get fired.

Nadine is brown-skinned, petite, shy and nerdy; her wardrobe is all sweatpants and sweatshirts.

Naomi Bao is another online college student. She is 21 years old. To pay for her studies, she works as a cash register clerk at a Pollatore shoe store at the Magna-Mall. Turns out, one doesn’t need to be big to operate a sensor screen and help customers pay for their orders! And she has normal-sized coworkers to deal with anything else. It works out great – except for those times when her coworkers aren’t there. Most customers are understanding, some are… less so. A particularly obnoxious one might even ask her to help them out with trying on some shoes… Naomi’s goal is to sell some shoes and find a date.

Naomi is a delicate brunette of Asian descent.

Finally, there’s Rose Bassani. She used to work for Sana Jones as an assistant, but was fired after she shrank; she considers this a cruel, ironic injustice, because their company’s research was meant to help tinies. (It’s an open question whether Jones and the board of directors really feel that way). Rose had always been an aggressive spender; loss of income caught her off-guard. A coffee shop at the Magna-Mall has a public computer with a Tiny interface, and at the moment Rose spends her days there applying for jobs; she spends nights at her boyfriends place (they aren’t really dating now that she shrunk, but he’s willing to provide for her for a few months - she needs little!). Rose hopes to never run into any of her former coworkers… Rose’s goal is to secure a new job

Rose is Hispanic, dark-haired and athletic. She is double-jointed (hypermobile).

~ Suggested Initial Directions ~

(More detail provided in Chapter 1!)

Jennifer Copeland is relaxing at her swimming pool. Evie Dale is about to arrive.

Lily Copeland is at her apartment, panicking over the fact she’s shrinking and trying to decide whom to call for help.

Nadine Page is in her tiny living unit in the middle of the Burke living room. Catherine Burke, unaware of the fact, is shopping for shoes at the Magna-Mall. She’s just walked into the Pollatore store, where Naomi Bao is working the till. For reasons unknown, there are no normal-sized assistants available to help her.

Rose Bassani is working at the coffee shop, but it’s getting a little precarious, because the owner, trying to fit more people, moved tables and chairs around, and now the PC station she’s using is under a table.

Sana Jones is at the Magna-Mall lobby, trying to decide if she wants to join Catherine at the shoe store, or go have a coffee.

~ Content Rules ~

I wholeheartedly encourage a good mix of plot and kink. Any kink not in the limits below is permitted, though you can expect me to be most enthusiastic about content centered on feet, status play, maidification, cruelty, humiliation and objectification.

Contributors are more than welcome to add new story lines or new characters.

All cisgender pairings are permitted, as long as there is at least one female character in the scene. This excludes M/m (but FM/m and M/fm are perfectly fine). You can introduce trans characters, but only in tiny roles.

The kinks that shall not be part of this interactive are farts, scat, beast, anal vore, hyper, growth, uneven shrink/growth, ageplay and feederism. This story does not have room for furry characters. Please do not submit any chapters where any character may appear to be underage, they will be rejected.

Currently, additions are fully open. Feel free to chat with me if you’re interested in doing something and would like to run it by me.

I (have to) reserve the right to alter the rules and reject submissions I find low-quality, distasteful or not fitting the general tone. I am always happy to talk tho!

~ I hope you enjoy Cats and Mice! ~
