SFS What-Ifs: Giant, Stinky, Magic Himbos
Shrunken First Semester
chapter 2

Max rubbed at his eyes with both hands and looked around again, hoping his second glimpse around the room would make more sense than the first. It didn't.
He'd toured every building on campus last spring—stuck his head into lecture halls and dorms and the echoing gym, the dining commons that smelled of industrial waffle. Not one of them had looked remotely like this.
Below them, the floor was a minefield of oversized debris. Stacks of pizza boxes teetered like collapsed skyscrapers, grease-stained and sagging under their own weight, some still open with half-eaten slices the size of king-sized mattresses. Empty energy drink cans and soda bottles lay scattered like fallen barrels, some crushed flat under what must have been enormous feet. A pair of massive, sweat-darkened socks the size of rolled-up carpets lay discarded near the couch, one of them visibly stretched and yellowed at the toes. Another pair—different color, even filthier—draped over the arm of a recliner like a fallen flag.
And then there was all the underwear.
Three distinct pairs lay in various states of abandonment across the floor and furniture. One pair of plain white briefs looked like they’d been through a war—stretched, dingy, with clear yellowish skid marks and a heavy, crusty patch right in the seat. Another, slightly smaller but no cleaner, had cartoonish patterns stretched comically out of shape. A third pair, black and even more wrecked, lay crumpled near the coffee table with a thick, cheesy-looking stain along the back. They were all enormous. If Max had still been normal-sized, any one of those pairs could have wrapped around his entire body. The thought arrived uninvited, and he wished it hadn't.
The air was thick, swampy, every breath dragging in a humid fog of stale gamer-den funk: baked-in sweat, old socks, cheap body spray that had failed days ago, and underneath it all something heavier. Musky. Unmistakably masculine.
He pushed up onto shaking arms, and the wrongness of his size hit again, worse now that he had context for it. The coffee table under him went on like a tarmac. Across the room a flatscreen burned like a drive-in screen, Sonic strobing across it mid-spin while a synth-metal track hammered at a volume he felt in the wood, in his teeth, in the floor of his chest.
And then there were the voices—deep, loud, and way too close.
“Bro, you’re supposed to spin dash through that shit, not faceplant into it like a dumbass!”
The voice boomed down from somewhere above and to the right, deep and bubbly—then came a long, wet, tremendously loud fart that rolled like thunder trapped indoors.
BRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPP~
The table rattled under Max’s hands and knees. Then the smell reached him.
It hit like a physical wave—hot, humid, complex. Fermented cheese and unwashed ass and pizza grease and pure swamp musk. His eyes watered instantly. He coughed, gagged, his tiny body convulsing as the cloud flooded his lungs.
“Hrk—! Gah—!”
He doubled over, one arm around his stomach, the other braced on the sticky wood. When he finally pried his streaming eyes open and twisted around, the sight that greeted him made his heart skip.
Two colossal figures were sprawled across an equally massive couch, each easily eight or nine feet tall.
The one on the right had wild spiky blonde hair tufting out from under a black beanie. He was leaning so far forward in his excitement that his enormous, jiggling, barely-contained ass was threatening to swallow half the couch cushions entirely. Pale skin glistened with a sheen of sweat; what little clothing he wore — a cropped tank top and strained briefs — clung damply to his hyper-curvy frame.
This was Sparky. The name simply arrived—dropped into Max's head fully formed and certain, as though he'd known it for years.
Beside him, leaner and more muscular in the upper body but with a similarly exaggerated, plush bottom-heavy build, sat a guy with warm tan skin and dark messy hair pulled into a small top-knot tuft. He was laughing so hard the entire couch quaked under their combined weight, amber eyes sparkling with mirth as he clutched a controller slick with sweat.
This was Benji. Max didn’t know how he knew. He just did.
Right between them, looking comically small by comparison but still a giant to Max, sat a slim guy with messy brown hair and a slightly askew pink headband. He was holding a controller too, legs tucked under him, but his eyes kept flicking sideways with a very particular kind of hungry gleam every time one of the big guys shifted. His name was Enny.
And perched on the arm of the couch like he wasn’t entirely sure how human furniture was meant to function sat the tallest of them all — another nearly nine-foot-tall young man with soft, curly blonde hair and the most painfully earnest, slightly confused expression Max had ever seen on such an imposing figure. He leaned in with wide blue eyes, watching the screen with genuine fascination.
“Um… so the blue one is… fast? And we are… helping him collect the golden rings? But why does the red one keep yelling at him? Is that… normal human friendship?”
Apollo. The name floated into Max’s head like it had always been there, even though he’d never seen any of these people before in his life.
Max’s heart was hammering so hard he could feel it in his teeth.
He was tiny. Three inches tall, maybe less. Completely naked. On a stranger’s coffee table in some random dorm, surrounded by four giant guys who were radiating enough raw size, heat, and overwhelming smell to make his brain short-circuit.
frrrrrtttt~
Another fart rolled out from Sparky's direction, and Benji started fake-gagging and laughing at once, the couch bouncing.
“Dude, that one had weight to it. I felt the couch move.”
Sparky grinned, shameless, and reached back to scratch under one massive cheek—the motion sending fresh ripples through him and another warm gust across the table.
“Your fault for making me eat that entire extra-large pizza by myself, bro.”
Enny's voice cut in, low and teasing. "You two are disgusting." A pause. "…Keep going."
This has to be a dream, Max thought wildly. Or a nightmare. No way this is real. Any second I'll wake up with a headache and a story I'll never tell anyone.
Then Sparky's enormous bare foot lifted off the floor with a soft, sticky sound and came down on the edge of the table, inches from Max's body. The shockwave knocked him flat.
The smell off the sole hit like a truck—warm and cheesy from days of sock confinement, sharpened by fresh sweat. The sole was a landscape in itself: broad, pinkish where the pressure built, shiny with moisture, every ridge and crease visible at his scale. Lint clung between toes thicker than his torso. They spread and curled as Sparky shifted, fanning humid gusts straight over him.
Sparky didn't notice. He was busy yelling at the screen, toes flexing in Max's horrified—and unwillingly fascinated—line of sight.
Max froze completely.
Oh god. Oh fuck. This isn’t a dream.
It landed with the same brutal force as the foot. Dreams didn't have shockwaves that rattled your bones. Dreams didn't coat your tongue with foot-stink. Dreams didn't put four furnace-hot bodies inches away, every shift sending fresh tremors and scent through the sticky table and into your bare skin. The overwhelming presence of four unaware giants was simply too much, too real.
Whether he liked it or not, he was now a three-inch speck on the coffee table of a dorm full of chaotic, musky, video-game-playing giants—and he knew he couldn't just sit there and take it. A few more blasts like the last one and he was finished. He sucked in a breath that tasted like ass and old pizza, cupped his hands, and screamed.
“Hey! HEY! Down here! On the table! HELP!”
His voice cracked. He waved both arms, jumping on the sticky wood like a man on fire—but the game was deafening, and his shouts were barely squeaks under the soundtrack and the rumble of shifting giants. Sparky's foot still sat on the table's edge, toes flexing. One wrong shift and he'd be a stain.
For a few terrifying seconds, nobody reacted.
Then Enny’s head turned.
His eyes found the tiny naked figure and went wide—a sharp blink, eyebrows up. Then something else moved across his face. The controller slipped in his hands. He leaned in, headband crooked, and a slow, fascinated smile pulled at his mouth. Not panic. Not simple curiosity. Something calculating.
Sparky noticed half a second later because Enny had stopped pretending to watch the screen.
“Whoa.” Sparky’s voice dropped into an awed rumble. His enormous body lurched forward, beanie tilting, blonde spikes bouncing. Both massive hands came up like he was about to snatch something out of the air. “Dude. Dude. There’s a tiny guy on the table.” His blue eyes sparkled with pure, uncomplicated delight. “Dibs! I call dibs! He’s mine!”
Benji's head whipped around, top-knot bouncing. "What?! No way, I saw him first!" He was already leaning in too, one hand gripping the couch like he was physically holding himself back, the motion shifting his colossal ass and rolling another wave of swampy heat over Max. “You always call dibs on everything cool! This one’s mine, Sparky!”
Sparky twisted toward him, grinning wide and shameless. “Nuh-uh! I called him! Finders keepers, bro!”
They were already bickering over him like he was a new limited-edition controller.
Apollo was the last to notice, blinking owlishly down at the table from his perch on the couch arm. “…Is that a human? How did a human get that small?” His soft curly blonde hair framed a face that went from confused to suddenly, horribly guilty in the space of two seconds.
“Oh no,” he breathed, voice soft and earnest and far too loud. “I think… I think that might have been me. My Angel Nav was glitching earlier when I was trying to check the weather for tomorrow, and there was this weird spark and— oh dear. I may have accidentally… blinked something here. Someone.”
He leaned down a little closer, huge blue eyes full of sincere concern. “Should I… try to reverse it? I could probably grow him back. Or send him home? Wherever he came from?”
The answer came in perfect unison from Sparky, Enny and Benji:
“NO!”
Apollo blinked, startled. “But he looks scared—”
“He’s fine,” Sparky said quickly, still staring at Max like he was the coolest thing he’d ever seen. “Look at him. He’s like one of those super-detailed action figures! The ones with all the little joints and the tiny fingers and everything! Except he’s real and moving and he’s on our table!”
Benji nodded aggressively. “Yeah, don’t you dare zap him away, Apollo. We just got him.”
Apollo’s guilty expression deepened. He glanced sideways at Enny, voice dropping into a hesitant, almost pleading tone. “Enny? Are you sure this is a good idea?”
Enny didn’t even look away from Max. He adjusted his crooked pink headband with one hand, the other still loosely holding his controller. His voice came out calm, but there was a bright, eager undercurrent running through it that made Max’s stomach tighten.
“He’ll be fine,” Enny said. “This is all totally normal human stuff. Trust me.”
Apollo winced, glancing nervously between Max and Sparky’s huge foot still resting on the edge of the table. “Alright… If you say so.”
Max’s stomach twisted hard. Just like that, the only person in the room who seemed to want to help him had been shut down without a second thought.
Sparky turned his attention to Enny, eyes bright with chaotic, competitive energy.
“Enny, c’mon. You saw him first, right? Tell Benji I get him.”
Benji immediately countered, leaning toward Enny with the same greedy excitement.
“Don’t listen to him. He’s just gonna use the little guy as a fart rag or something. I’d take way better care of him.”
They kept at it, voices booming over Max's head like he wasn't there—Sparky making his case with big sweeping gestures that gusted musk across the table, Benji countering with competitive jabs, thighs spreading wider until his briefs creaked. And Max, throat raw, finally understood the shape of the room: they weren't really fighting each other. They were both pitching to the small guy in the middle. Even Apollo had gone quiet, waiting on him. Enny's eyes hadn't left Max once, and the hungry gleam had only gotten brighter.
Max’s stomach dropped.
His fate wasn't up to the two himbos fighting over him like a toy. It was up to the one already looking at him like the most interesting problem he'd seen all week.
Enny leaned forward, elbows on his knees, and looked straight down. "Alright, enough. We're not gonna fight over him like kids with a new toy." He tilted his head, studying Max with open, unapologetic interest. "Hey. Tiny guy. You still with us?"
Max’s mouth went dry. Every giant eye was suddenly on him.
Enny continued, tone light like he was asking about pizza toppings. “Quick question. You more of a foot guy… or a butt guy?”
The words hit Max like a slap. For a few seconds, his brain simply refused to process them. His mouth opened, then closed. The sheer audacity of being asked that — while naked, three inches tall, and standing on a coffee table that reeked of farts and sweat — left him completely blank.
Enny waited, patient and faintly amused.
