As Max looked up at the trio of giant girls looming over him, he could feel his throat getting tighter. The more he tried to imagine entrusting himself to any of them, the more it made his skin crawl. Not that rejecting all three of them seemed like a safer bet. For now, maybe his safest move was to avoid drawing any excess attention to himself. He took a tentative step backward, his bare feet sinking into the terrarium’s soft, fake grass.

As the three-inch freshman inched toward the nearest miniature structure in the “tiny rescue center,” the members of Students for Tinies continued their debate—clearly, wherever they’d left off the last time they’d found themselves in this kind of situation.

“What he needs is structure!” Lotte insisted, leaning over the glass. “Someone who can observe him and see how he’s adjusting without being too hands-on and compromising the data.” The bespectacled nerd glanced back at Sydney, who responded by sticking her tongue out.

“W-what if he wants someone hands-on…” Akane, wringing her hands, tried to interject. “Someone gentle, and patient, and…”

“Ugh, you’re both missing the point!” Sydney whined, throwing up her hands in exasperation. The motion made her chest jiggle violently, a seismic event from Max’s perspective. “We’re talking in circles again. How about this… let’s all say what we’d do with him. Then he can see who’s the best fit.” She grinned. “I’ll go first!”

She struck a pose, one hand on her hip, the other gesturing toward the terrarium. “If you choose me, you’d get to spend the whole day right here.” She cupped her massive breasts, lifting them and letting them fall with a soft, heavy jiggle—a pair of pale planets utterly overwhelming the shrunken man’s field of vision. “You’d be my super-secret, super-cute boob buddy! No more getting bored in lectures. And at night…” She leaned in, grin growing. “You can sleep in my panties. I usually get, like, super sweaty down there when I sleep. So it’ll be like your own little personal sauna!” She winked. “Bottom line, you’ll never be lonely. Or clean.”

Max shuddered, a cold wave of dread crawling down his back. Sydney’s idea of paradise sounded more like a sweaty, stinking, inescapable nightmare.

“That’s not care, that’s captivity!” Lotte adjusted her glasses and stepped forward. Her hip bumped the terrarium, sending a subtle tremor through Max’s tiny world. “What he needs is a controlled, structured environment with a focus on acclimatization. So he can adjust to his new reality as soon as possible.” She turned her enthusiastic gaze to Max. “I recently borrowed a couple of books from Professor Chandra—she’s the campus psychiatrist, and she’s done some really interesting work on the shrunken male psyche. The research suggests that the trauma of diminution can be mitigated through a structured program of… well, it’s essentially female-led conditioning. The studies call it ‘Size-Affirmative Role Reinforcement.’” She paused, a faint blush creeping into her cheeks. “It involves daily exercises where you’d… ah… worship my feet after I’ve come back from class. Or practice gratitude affirmations while nestled in my… well, while I’m sitting on you. The data shows it helps tinies embrace their new place in the ecosystem and reduces stress-related… um… malfunctions.” She said the last word with a clumsy, academic euphemism, but the glint in her eyes betrayed a budding, if awkward, curiosity about the more hands-on aspects of this “research.”

“You wanna turn him into a lab rat with a foot fetish,” Sydney snorted, crossing her arms under her chest.

“It’s science, Syd!” By now, Lotte’s face was bright red.

“My turn!” Akane chirped, her voice trembling with nervous excitement. “I… I’ve always dreamed of having a tiny boyfriend. I’d make you tiny meals every day, and we could cuddle on my pillow and watch anime…” She fidgeted, her massive chest heaving under her oversized sweater, straining the fabric. “We could do all the normal couple things!”

“Yeah, until you try to get kinky with him,” Sydney said flatly. “Remember Jake?”

Akane’s face fell, her shoulders slumping. “Th-that was different! I was just… I’d be more careful this time! I promise!”

As Lotte and Sydney chimed in to push back on Akane’s promise, their argument resumed in full force—and as they bickered, their bodies continued to torment the terrarium’s sole inhabitant.

Pffrrrt

Akane shifted her weight, her butt squishing up against the terrarium wall, and let out a soft, almost ladylike poot. A sour, nervous stink drifted down into Max’s world. He coughed, swatting at the air in front of his face.

“Again, Akane? Really?” Lotte complained, fanning the air with a textbook she picked up from her desk. The gesture only served to stir the smell deeper into the enclosed space.

“S-sorry! I’m just so nervous!” Akane squeaked, blushing furiously.

“You think that’s bad?” Sydney’s grin returned. She turned, presenting her back to the terrarium, and bent over slightly, her too-tight pajama shorts stretching taut over the immense, round curves of her backside. “Check this out!”

BRAAAAAAAPPPPPBLBLBLTTT

A much louder, wetter blast rattled the room, followed by a thick, swampy wave of gas. The humid stench slammed into Max like a truck, knocking him to his knees as he gagged, eyes watering in the swirling funk.

“Syd!” Lotte scolded, though she sounded more exasperated than angry. “This is serious!”

“What? He needs to know what he’s signing up for!” Sydney retorted, straightening up and giving a playful shake of her hips.

“Well, I guess I’m not gonna be the odd one out.” Audibly frustrated, Lotte leaned heavily against the terrarium, her lower back against the glass.

Pbbbblllrrrrbbbt

Lotte’s low, rumbling fart joined the chorus, reeking of processed cheese and something sharp and sour. Max was now boxed in by three different flavors of stink, each one a gross testament to their diet and dominance.

As Max huddled by a plastic lamppost, coughing and blinking away tears, his mind was racing. No matter who he picked, it wouldn’t be pretty.

“Well?” Sydney asked, planting her hands on her hips and glancing down at Max. “What do you think, widdle guy? Who sounds the most fun?”

Max’s heart hammered against his ribs. This was it. He had to say something. He looked up at their enormous, expectant faces—Sydney’s predatory glee, Lotte’s eager intensity, Akane’s desperate hope. He took a shaky breath and found the air still thick with their collective stench.

Max hesitated, feeling a heavy weight in his chest. “I… I just want to go back to normal,” he whispered, the words feeling pathetic and small even to his own ears. “I want to be my size again.”

The reaction was immediate. Lotte’s face fell into an expression of pure dismay. “Oh, Max,” she said, her voice softening with something that sounded like genuine pity. “Sydney, did you not explain it to him?”

Sydney rolled her eyes. “Ugh, yes, I told him!” She looked at Max with a mix of annoyance and condescension. “He knows he’s stuck like this. I’m sure he’s just in denial.”

“Generally speaking, the biochemical restructuring is irreversible,” Lotte confirmed, nodding along with Sydney for once. “Every attempt to reverse the process has resulted in… well, let’s just say the results usually aren’t pretty.”

Max’s stomach dropped. Hearing it laid out so coldly by the only girl who’d bothered to do her homework made it all hit at once—harder than Sydney’s ass ever could. No cure. No way out. Just him, naked and three inches tall, stuck in a world of giants who barely saw him as human.

Max glanced from Lotte’s worried frown to Sydney’s bored smirk to Akane’s watery, guilty eyes. Hopelessness pressed down on him like a boot. He was a commodity. A pet, a test subject, a fantasy. Anything but a person.

The silence dragged on, broken only by Akane’s quiet sniffles. Max stared down at the plastic grass, feeling smaller than ever.

Lotte, watching his utter dejection, adjusted her glasses again. A thoughtful look replaced her earlier frustration. She glanced between Sydney and Akane, then back down at the tiny, despondent figure in the terrarium.

“You know,” Lotte began slowly, a new, cautious energy in her voice. “I might have an idea.”

Sydney’s head whipped around. “What?”

“It’s… unconventional. But it could address Max’s… adjustment issues.” Lotte looked directly at Max. “Not necessarily a cure. But who knows.”

Max looked up, a fragile, dangerous flicker of hope igniting in his chest against his better judgment.

“What is it?” he breathed, his voice barely audible.
