"Well..." Daisy hesitated. “Is there anyone I could call to come get you? Like… your parents, or something?" Her voice was softer now, laced with something almost like guilt.

Max's stomach twisted—not just from the thick stench of Daisy's body odor or the dried remnants of her arousal still clinging to his skin, but from considering all the implications of that word. Family. His mom had been out of the picture for years, his dad was halfway across the world, buried in spreadsheets and conference calls, utterly unreachable, and he'd never been close with any of his extended family. That left only one person: his stepmother, Victoria.

Just the thought of her made his pulse spike. Victoria wasn't just overbearing—she was a force of nature, a 6'1", 250-pound hurricane of manicured nails, designer perfume, and suffocating maternal instinct. Since marrying his father, she'd inserted herself into every corner of his life like an invasive species, micromanaging his grades, his friendships, and even his clothes. And then there was Izzy, her bratty, do-nothing daughter, who’d spent most of high school smoking weed in the garage while Max got lectured about "applying himself." The idea of being handed over to Victoria in this state—naked, shrunken, reeking of another woman's musk—was humiliating beyond words.

But the alternative? Staying in House Proserpina, where the girls treated personal hygiene like a suggestion and men like living sex toys? Where Daisy's idea of "helping" had been shoving him face-first into her unwashed crotch to "claim" him? No. At least with Victoria, there was a chance—however slim—of getting back to normal.

"Yeah," Max muttered, rubbing his temples as if he could physically push the dread out of his skull as he rattled his stepmom's number off from memory. "My stepmom, Victoria."

Daisy punched it into her cracked phone screen, then hesitated, her chipped nail polish hovering over the call button. "Should I, like… FaceTime her? So she can see you?"

Max opened his mouth to protest, but Daisy had already hit the button. The call connected after two rings, and the screen filled with an image that made Max's already-tiny stomach drop straight into the abyss.

Victoria in his dorm room. In his bed.

Not just lying there, either—lounging, like some kind of decadent empress, propped up against his pillows with one arm draped lazily behind her head. She was half-naked, wearing nothing but a scandalous lace bra that strained against the sheer mass of her breasts—each one easily five times the size of his shrunken torso—and a matching pair of panties that did nothing to hide the sinful swell of her hips. The sheets were rumpled beneath her, the dim light of the dorm room casting shadows along the deep crease of her cleavage and the soft curve of her belly. Her wavy black hair was tousled, her lipstick smudged, and her dark brown eyes gleamed with smug amusement as she took in the sight of Daisy's flushed, greasy face on the screen.

"Well, hello there," Victoria purred, her voice dripping with condescending sweetness. "And who might you be?"

Daisy blinked, momentarily stunned into silence by the sheer presence of the woman on screen. "Uh. Daisy. Daisy Flores. I, um. I have Max?"

“Max? My Max?” Victoria's smirk widened, her plump lips curling in a way that made Max's skin crawl. “What would a cute girl like you want with him?”

"Victoria?” Max piped up, prompting Daisy to pan the camera over to the nightstand. "What are you doing in my room?"

Victoria's gaze flicked downward, and for the first time since the call started, her expression shifted—not to shock, not to horror, but to something disturbingly close to delight.

"Oh, there you are, sweetie," she cooed, as if he'd briefly wandered off on an outing to the mall instead of appearing on her phone screen three inches tall and covered in another woman's fluids. "I've been looking for you all morning!"

Max's jaw dropped. "You—you're not surprised that I'm suddenly three inches tall?!"

Victoria shrugged, the motion making her breasts jiggle obscenely. "I mean, not really. It sure explains why you weren't in your room. You being down here all alone, without anyone to look after you..." She sighed, shaking her head like she was disappointed in him for not trying hard enough. "Honestly, after the stories I've heard about this school, I'm just relieved you didn't wake up inside someone."

Max's brain short-circuited. "What stories?! What the hell are you talking about?!"

Victoria waved him off, her gold bangles clinking together. "Oh, you know. The usual. Shrinking serums, mind control, all those ghastly goths." She wiggled her fingers for emphasis. "Spooky."

Max stared at her, his tiny hands balling into fists.

"Anyway," Victoria continued, breezing right past his outrage, "I'm on campus for Parents' Weekend. I came by to surprise you, but you weren't in your room. Then I ran into your adorable roommate—"

"Oh my god," Max groaned, covering his face with his hands. He could already see where this was going.

"—and we got to talking, and, well…" She trailed off, her smirk turning downright filthy as she adjusted the straps of her bra, letting the fabric dig even deeper into her soft, pillowy flesh.

From somewhere off-screen, Zeke's voice chimed in, breathless and way too pleased with himself. "Is that Max? Dude, your mom is so cool!"

Max's soul left his body.

"You fucked my roommate?!" he screeched, his voice cracking.

Victoria rolled her eyes. "Don't be so dramatic, dear. It was just a little… stress relief." She licked her lips, slow and deliberate, like she was savoring the memory. "Mmm. That boy has a pipe on him."

Max made a noise like a deflating balloon.

Daisy, meanwhile, looked like she was about to spontaneously combust, her face so red it nearly matched the crusty stains on her sweatpants.

Victoria leaned closer to the screen, her cleavage threatening to spill out entirely. "Now, Daisy, was it? Where exactly are you? I'll come pick up Max as soon as I'm showered and dressed."

Daisy stammered out the dorm number, her voice barely above a whisper.

Victoria gave her a wink. "Perfect. I'll be there in ten. Try not to let him get sat on in the meantime, would you?"

The call ended before Max could protest further. He stood frozen on Daisy's nightstand, his entire body burning with a mix of humiliation, rage, and sheer, unadulterated dread.

"Wow." Daisy cleared her throat awkwardly. "Don't take this the wrong way, but your stepmom's really…"

"Intense?" Max supplied weakly.

"I was gonna say 'hot,'" Daisy admitted, scratching her cheek. "Like, 'I'd-let-her-step-on-me' hot."

"Oh," Max groaned, sinking to his knees.

"S-sorry, I'm sure that's super weird." Seeing Max deflating even further into himself, Daisy went redder than ever. "Forget I said anything."

As Max opened his mouth to reply, a sharp knock at the door cut him off.
