Five months later...

It was an overcast mid-February Friday morning around 11 AM, and Max was just waking up after a very long and restless night. As usual, thanks to his 6'4", 375-pound guardian's constant snoring and nocturnal emissions, he'd barely managed more than a few hours of actual sleep—and as he opened his eyes and hunched up into a sitting position, he felt every bit as physiologically tapped out as he'd been on his first fateful morning at three inches tall.

Even after five long months in the care of Daisy Flores, the girl known to most students at Ventus University as "Buttzilla," Max could still remember that day like it was yesterday. That was when Daisy had found him, cowering on the coffee table in the common room of Ventus's infamous "Loser House," with zero memory of how he'd ended up there—or how he'd experienced such a dramatic reduction from his pre-shrinking height of 5'8". Over the days and weeks that followed, after a few painfully unsuccessful attempts at escaping the giant shut-in's clutches that had landed him in a repurposed terrarium on her desk, he'd resigned himself to biding his time in hopes that someone, anyone, would eventually come looking for him. The only problem with that plan was that no one ever came.

The rest of his first semester had practically flown by — an endless cycle of days cooped up in Daisy's room, watching his guardian waste away the hours by eating, gaming, watching reruns of My Little Pony and gooning herself silly — and the holiday break at the end hadn't been much better, since she'd opted to stay on campus to save money. At this point, about two weeks into February, Max was finding it harder and harder to ignore the reality of his situation: whether he liked it or not, he was going to be trapped with this physically and literally massive femcel forever. Of course, in retrospect, his fate had probably been sealed when she'd first set hands on him.

Scanning his surroundings — a half-empty Mountain Dew bottle cap filled with water, a pile of junk food crumbs in one corner of his space, the four huge glass walls that fenced him in, and the pile of funky-smelling fabric he'd just been sleeping in — he let out a long sigh. Another day in purgatory.

"Morning, Max!"

When the shrunken freshman looked up, he couldn't help flinching. While every aspect of his life had changed dramatically since he'd first ended up in here, Daisy hadn't changed one bit. For better or worse, the young woman now looming over his enclosure was still the same old big, chubby, slobby femcel that had "rescued" him last fall—from her long, greasy dark brown hair, to her sleep-deprived brown eyes, to her undeniably cute acne-strewn face, to the omnipresent aura of sweat, rotten eggs and un-wiped butt funk that followed wherever she went.

"Morning," he mumbled, rubbing his eyes. Then, seeing the balled-up fistful of fabric she was dangling over him, he brought up his hands in protest. "Wait-"

A second later, Max's entire field of view was covered by a billowing pair of extra-ripe, heavily skid-marked XXXL panties—the most skid-marked part of which landed right up against his face. It took him several additional seconds to free himself from its slimy embrace, and by the time he got out, Daisy seemed to be quite amused.

"Heh," she chuckled, peeling the previous week's pair of underwear out of the terrarium and blushing. "Sorry. Meant to change these out yesterday."

Against every instinct still screaming at him to try begging for freedom one more time, Max forced his head to nod. This was just another of the ways that Daisy attempted to make his life more comfortable—keeping him in a constant supply of "pre-warmed" undies that had been the closest thing he'd had to a bed since last year. "Thanks."

"You hungry?" Daisy frowned at the pile of Taki crumbs sitting next to Max's water dish. "Still not a Takis guy, huh?"

Max shook his head. In truth, his lack of appetite the previous night had been directly tied to Daisy's own. After gorging herself on burritos all day, she'd subjected the whole room to some truly biblical farts for most of the evening—which had left him feeling so nauseous that the very idea of food seemed like a non-starter.

"I've still got half a burrito from yesterday, if you want." The giant shut-in gestured toward her desk, where an extra-cheese-and-bean burrito the size of an artillery shell had been sitting out all night.

"...That's alright," said Max, eyeing the bus-sized burrito with skepticism. "I'm good."

"Okey-dokey," said Daisy, turning back toward her desk to get a bite of her own and giving her guest an unrestricted view of her fridge-sized rump. Five additional months of sedentary Loser House living had made it even bigger than it had been when they'd first met, and even the slightest movement made it jiggle enticingly. The only real problem with that, from Max's perspective, was the smell—and the fact that she almost never wiped, let alone washed, back there. "More for me."

Staring up at Daisy's ass, Max felt a stir of involuntary arousal. For almost half a year, this woman had been the only other human being he'd had for company—and one part of his touch-starved, hormone-addled mind found it impossible to ignore how pleasantly plump and curvy she was. Still, another part of him — the rational part, still holding out some hope for getting out of here with his dignity and sanity intact — had managed to resist the urge to respond to her overtures until now. And she'd made no shortage of attempts.

BBBBRRRRRAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPP

Right then, as if to remind the three-inch freshman why it remained in his best interests to avoid getting any closer than he had to, a thunderous fart erupted out of the 6'4" junior's ass. Unfortunately for Max, because his guardian had her back to his terrarium, the resulting wave of stink rushed out into his glass enclosure and quickly settled to the bottom, drowning him in a sea of eggy fumes. This happened at least three or four times a day—less due to any ill intent on Daisy's part, but more thanks to the simple reality of how much gas she passed. At a purely statistical level, it was inevitable that at least a few of the toots she let loose in here would be directed toward him—and he had a feeling this wouldn't be the last one he'd absorb today.

"Oh, sorry!" Blushing profusely, Daisy doubled back to the terrarium and stuck a hand down to pluck out her coughing and gagging guest—who recoiled a little at her touch but still accepted her help escaping the fart hotbox she'd created for him. "I really gotta be more careful about that."

Cradled in Daisy's hand, Max could only shrug. When she set him down on her desk, he slid back into a defeated slump. Then, registering a gurgle from the giant shut-in's stomach, he reflexively flinched again.

"I think it's that time of the morning," said Daisy, stepping away from the desk and waddling over to the door. "You wanna come with, or?"

"I'm good," Max shuddered. After his first few weeks with Daisy — when she'd refused to ever let him out of her sight, even while taking a shit — he had no interest in joining her for a trip to the bathroom. Her bowel movements were already full-on biohazards for any regular-sized person, but for him, they were more like acts of god—and not a terribly merciful god, either. He'd be having nightmares about the one time she'd accidentally dropped him into the bowl mid-dump for the rest of his life.

"Cool." Opening the door, the hulking junior glanced back at her shrunken guest and winked. "Don't have too much fun without me, okay?"

As Max heard the door click shut, followed by the additional click-clack of the deadbolt locking him in for safekeeping, he let out another long sigh. A few weeks ago, he would have used a window of opportunity like this to find a way out of here—investigating one of the vents beside Daisy's desk, or the window behind her bed. Now, though, after so much pointless trial and error, he knew better than to waste his energy with such ideas. While Daisy had never said as much to him or punished him in any way for his continued desire to resist her care, he understood that she was never letting him out of this room if she could help it.

Looking around again — with a much better vantage beyond the fogged-up walls of the terrarium — he found it striking how squalid the whole place was. Daisy's bed was just as dirty as ever; the walls were still plastered with peeling anime posters, and the floor was just as covered in random junk. A few piles of dirty clothes hadn't moved once in all the time he'd been here. Worst of all was the air, which continued to smell like sweat and stale farts.

For five months, this had been his reality—and the weirdest part of the whole thing was that some part of him was actually starting to get used to it. There was something undeniably nice about being free from the pressures of coursework and cultivating a social life, as much as another part of him still hungered for the chance to get back to all of that. If he'd still been regular-sized and had spent the rest of his first semester attending classes and trying to get with girls, he doubted it would have gone anywhere for him. Chances were, he'd still be the same sad, middling virgin he'd been back before all of this—and at least now, all of those possibilities had been preemptively foreclosed for him. It wasn't that he wasn't trying. It was that he no longer had the chance to.

At the same time, as weird as it was to think in such terms, he knew that he'd lucked out by ending up with Daisy. Based on the limited bits of information she gave him about her dorm mates, very few of them seemed like they'd be any better as guardians—and while the giant shut-in still intimidated him at some level, it was hard to deny that she was doing her best for him. While any other girl in this dorm probably wouldn't have thought twice about turning him into a butt plug or a quick snack, Daisy kept him fed and sheltered—and while she seemed quite interested in having a closer relationship, she'd continued to respect his desire for distance. She'd clearly been quite a lonely person before meeting him and seemed to enjoy his company... and putting aside all the other realities of his situation, he'd never had a girl feel like that about him before.

"Phew!" Slipping back into the room and re-locking the door behind her, Daisy shot Max a wry smile. "Much better."

"Oh," said Max, smiling somewhat earnestly in spite of himself. Whenever Daisy took a dump, it did tend to make her farts a little less oppressive—at least, for a little while. "Good."

"Yeah," said Daisy, shuffling back to the desk and sliding into her chair. "So, uh... what do you wanna do today?"

"Me?" Max shrugged. "I dunno... Do you have class today?"

"Nope!" Daisy's smile grew. "I've got Fridays off this semester, remember?"

"Oh, right. Cool." Looking up at Daisy's desktop — wallpapered with a collage of Steven Universe and MLP fanart — he eyed the date. "I didn't realize it was a Friday."

"Yep! Friday the..." Following Max's gaze to the date, Daisy blushed even redder than before. "...14th."

"What's wrong?" Looking up at Daisy again, Max scowled. The last time he'd seen her this flustered was when she'd accidentally sharted while he'd been riding in the back of her underwear—her usual method of keeping him close when she had to leave the dorm.

"Oh," mumbled Daisy, smiling awkwardly. "Y'know. I just... heh... I've never had a guy to hang out with on Valentine's Day before."

"V-Valentine's Day?" Now, it was Max's turn to blush. "Oh! I forgot about that."

"M-maybe we could, like..." Daisy's face was bright red. "Have dinner together later or something?"

Against his better judgment, Max offered one more shrug. If he was going to be stuck here, he might as well try to enjoy himself. "Sure. I could do that."

*

For Max, the next several hours passed in a fairly predictable fashion—sitting on Daisy's desk as his giant guardian sunk several hours into Minecraft on one monitor while watching some kind of video essay about Homestuck on another. The two undergrads had now been together long enough that Max felt comfortable occasionally chiming in to give feedback on whatever Daisy was doing in the game—and Daisy felt comfortable not holding back her various emissions for Max's benefit. In the moments when the shrunken freshman was able to forget the whole "being three inches tall" thing, it was almost enjoyable.

The only objectively unpleasant part of the whole afternoon came when Daisy's neighbor Hazel barged in, forcing Max's guardian to hurriedly hide him up her ass while her neighbor ransacked her room in search of a lost sex toy—and forcing Max to absorb no shortage of stress farts point blank. Daisy then proceeded to leave him in her ass for at least another half hour, promising that it would give her some time to prepare for their dinner and make the finished product more of a fun reveal. With no way to push back on this, Max could only grin and bear it, doing his best to avoid the advances of her big, dirty, worrisomely-eager asshole.

By the time the giant shut-in finally peeled her shrunken friend out of her crack, it was almost sunset—and when Max's eyes finished adjusting to the room's light, he couldn't help gasping. Over on Daisy's desk, her usual light-up keyboard and gaming peripherals had been swept aside in favor of a box of pizza, a box of wine, two paper plates and a slow-burning scented candle—doing everything in its power to project a faint aura of vanilla against the room's usual overpowering odors. She'd even adjusted her monitors to project footage of a crackling fireplace, which looked a little out of place on her desk but still offered a nice contrast to the room's usual lack of conventional warmth.

"Ta-da," said Daisy, voice audibly shaky. "W-what do you think?"

"This is..." Realizing that this whole situation was a matter of considerable insecurity for his giant guardian, Max nodded eagerly. Somehow, for once, he wasn't the more nervous party in a conversation with a member of the opposite sex. "Great!"

"Oh, good!" Carrying Max over to her desk, settling herself into her gaming chair and depositing her shrunken guest beside his plate, the giant shut-in smiled. Then, peeling off a tiny corner of pizza for Max and piling the rest onto her plate, she wasted no time digging in.

Watching his giant guardian attacking the pizza with reckless abandon, Max couldn't help marveling at the sheer unladylike savagery with which she ate. If he'd somehow ended up stuck on one of these slices, she'd probably end up swallowing him whole without a second thought. In a matter of seconds, at least half of the pie disappeared into her stomach—followed by a very loud and unceremonious burp.

"Whoops, heh," Daisy giggled, patting her gut. "'Scuse me."

"It's alright," said Max, smiling in spite of himself. "I'm used to it by now."

"I guess you probably are, yeah." Daisy shook her head, smiling back. "W-want some wine?"

"Sure." Again, Max shrugged. While it had been five months since he'd had any alcohol — given that he hadn't had much access, and his last brush with it had made him end up in here — he wasn't opposed to having a little liquid courage for a meal like this.

"Cool," said Daisy, removing the cap off the nearest half-empty bottle of Mountain Dew on her desk and filling it up before topping up her own full-sized glass. "Here. Cheers."

"Cheers." Taking a sip of wine, Max winced a little at the unexpected bite of alcohol. Then he noticed that Daisy seemed to be set on chugging her entire cup in one go. "Thirsty?"

"Y-yeah." Gulping the last of her wine down, Daisy offered another smile—quite a bit tipsier than her previous one. "I know this is kinda dumb, but... I was just kinda nervous about this."

"That's okay," said Max, already feeling his lips considerably loosened by the wine. "I... I kinda was, too. I mean, heh, you know. Valentine's Day."

"I know, right?" Daisy chuckled. "Valentine's Day! I mean, it's super fake. Total manufactured holiday."

"Totally," said Max, smiling and nodding.

"But, I dunno." Daisy leaned forward over the desk. "Being here with you, tonight... I just... I really like having you here, Max."

"I..." Max hesitated. While the rational part of him still wasn't exactly thrilled to be stuck here, it was having trouble competing with the rest of him—or the influence of the alcohol continuing to soak into his system. "I really like being here with you."

"Y-you..." Daisy's eyes went wide. "You mean that?"

"Well, y-yeah?" Nodding vigorously, Max took another sip of wine before continuing. "I mean, no one's ever looked out for me the way you have. I know I tried to escape a couple times at first, but... I dunno. The more I think about it..."

"What?" Daisy leaned even further forward, now so close that Max could feel her warm breath cascading down onto him. It smelled like anticipation.

"I think this is where I was always meant to be." The moment these words left Max's mouth, he felt a sudden surge of uncertainty—but before he had any time to take them back, Daisy was scooping him up for the mother of all Valentine's Day makeout sessions.

Battered between the giant shut-in's big, plump lips, each easily bigger than his whole head and torso put together, the shrunken freshman did his best to stay conscious amid the overwhelming onslaught of soft, warm skin, saliva and the occasional intrusions of her big, greedy tongue. He'd never, ever, ever imagined his first kiss would go anything like this. Still, the longer it went on, the more he realized he'd never settle for anything less. By the time she finally pulled him away, he was practically drowning in pleasure—and visibly, almost painfully aroused.

"Wow," he breathed, shaking his head in awe. "That was... incredible."

"I love you, Max," murmured Daisy, who'd ended up sneaking her other hand down her sweatpants while they'd been kissing. "I love you so much."

Again, before Max's mind could weigh the pros and cons of a response to this comment, his mouthand his heartwere rushing to answer. "I love you too."

As Daisy pulled Max back to her lips for another kiss, the shrunken freshman felt all his lingering reservations about his new lot in life starting to melt away in real time. Maybe, just maybe, he was going to be okay after all.
