The drive home is long and awkward. Sarah had called your mom with a somewhat believable alibi that you had been incredibly sick the past month. Eventually, the car pulls into your driveway and you get and hug Sarah goodbye. With your unexpected arrival and your father away for work, you hardly left your room the first night. You couldn't break it to your parents that you had dropped out nor could you say anything about you shrinking and not sound insane.

You woke up early in the morning, Your mother slept in the room adjacent to yours while your two sister: Brooke and Sydney were across the hall. You had been close with Brooke all your life, she was a couple years behind you and a marathon runner but always stayed in touch. Sydney on the other hand was only 10 and was less interested in her siblings as she was with her friends and dance class. You family also owned a tabby cat named Ester who had a nasty habit of catching mice and small bugs around the house.
