To my surprise I woke up, to my shock the cryotech lab was dilapidated and before I could even look around I heard "Damn it! Just a human." Looking to the voice I saw a thirty foot tall blue blob dressed in strange shiny clothes with shimmering hair "Charging plasma cannon." She said as she pointed a bizarre glowing gun at me
"WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS THIS!?" I screamed
She pulled back the gun and lifted me up where I could see giant white blob wearing shiny clothes as well, she had thick rainbow hair and the two looked at me quizzically before the blue one said "Wait, say something else." The blue giant said
"DON'T EAT ME!!!" I screamed
The two looked at each other "What year were you frozen?" The white one asked
"Two thousand thirty five." I said
"I don't believe it a sentient human!" The blue one said
"Okay wait what is going on? What happened to sentient humans?" I looked furious "Did you eat them!?" I yelled
"No! And I don't think I like how jump to eating, just because we're hefty does not mean we're uncontrollable eating machines." The blue one said
"I'm Celestia, and this is my sister, Luna. And I'm sorry to say it but your kind has devolved quite rampantly. An epidemic of synthetic food additives eroded the human genome beyond repair, generations upon generations simple become savage and beyond reason." Celestia said
"So... where the heck do you giants come into play?" I asked Celestia as Luna opened her palm letting me sit in her open palm
"Actually about a decade or so after you were put on ice we Equestrians, a race of genetically modified ponies were integrated into the public, and because of our gene structure we were not only immune to the chemicals mind hampering effects but even thrived off it." Celestia said before popping open a can of soda and took a sip and her body pressed gently against her clothes "As you can see my body is taking in the chemicals rather nicely, because of our anatomy we can actually have children in numbers up to thirty to forty like it's nothing." Celestia said
"Okay, so where do I come in to all this?" I asked
"This is a truly unique situation. You're the last human, you could be considered quite the sight to everypony around here. I'm definitely curious what an uncorrupted human's genes look like, and I have a student who'd be very interested as well, if you'd like you can return to my lab and we could work together, with your permission of course. I wouldn't conduct an experiment without your consent. However if you're sick of laboratories I'm sure we can find a home for you with some ponies that will understand you're not a vermin and treat you right." Celestia said
