Equestria Invading
Chapter 4

I stood beside Ceaser, me and four others were his champions, we would fight for his entertainment in the colosseum, but on a normal day we stood by him to deter attackers. Today however we were met by seven visitors, they looked almost human but the faces of horses and wings of birds and odd horns
"Hello Caesar." The tallest of them said
"That's emperor Caesar!" one of us said
"What is your business here?" Caesar asked
"We've heard of your empire being quite powerful. We'd like to see your strongest fighters battle our strongest fighters." She said
"My strongest are right here." Caesar said
"I seen. Well if you accept our challenge then please choose a time and place." She said
"This afternoon, the colosseum. You can go about the city until then." Caesar said
She smiled "Great. Hope to see you then." She and her crowed left
"Show them no mercy." Caesar said to us and we obeyed

When the time came we arrived in the colosseum, the battle was announce as we stood ready weapons drawn, we waited for the gates to open, and when they did we saw one pony... stumbling drunkenly out in a shirt and pants
The crow booed the boo mare till she shakily waved for they're attention "Where are the rest!" Caesar demanded
"Okay yeah... rude! Hic. Second... we had nothing to do while we waited for you jerks! So we part taken in the delectable wine you guys made... it's pretty great. Hic." She said "I'm by the way Luna. In cause you forgot to ask, rude!" She said
"The challenge is forfeit!" Caesar said
"Oh no! I did not come as... the only one that could get up and walk out of the winery just... just to be denied! I'll talk you all on! Damn. Bunch of no funs..." Luna said
"Very well. Make her death honorable." Caesar said
We rushed the drunk mare, as two of us went to stab her stomach she dodged to the left, grabbing the closest blade and throwing the sentry holding it as she took his blade "I knew I forgot something!" She said, the nearest sentry to her swung, she kicked the blade away by it's width as she stumbled "Come on... you." She swung the gladius slicing the helmet strap off the sentry before her and kicked his helmet off by the mane piece, she then slapped him with the width of the blade leaving a red mark on his cheek to his ear, he clutched his ear as he yelled
She burped "Gah... I shoulda had some salad." She said as me and two other Sentries charged her, as we swung for her middle, she fell on her back... completely dodging our strikes, she kicked the middle sentry down and grabbed me and the sentry to my right by the wrist slamming us against each other breaking our helmets, she picked up our swords holding two in each hand facing infront and behind herself
The sentry she slapped came back at her swinging fiercely, she dropped her swords and dodged his swings and thrusts, she caught his blade in her fingers, burped then head butted him, knocking him down and taking his sword away, she took the five swords and threw them, embedding them in a wall
"Come at me... bro..." She said as she shakily held up her fists in a fighting stance
We got back up, taking knives out as we prepared to fight her, even now she stilled had an advantage standing at eight feet tall, she had a larger reach then us but we would use our numbers against her
As we came at her she leaped above us, she dropped her legs on me and another sentry pining us to the ground under her surprising weight for her lithe form, she grabbed the sentry behind her throwing him in front of her then holding him to her body using his armor to block the incoming knives in front of her before pushing the three down on they're backs with a hic
"I said fight!" She got back on her feet lifting me up by my chest piece "How many of these guys are there? I think I'm seeing doubles cause I see five..." She said before dropping me and falling on me using me as a pillow
"G'night..." She said as she started snoring
I was helplessly trapped under an adversary... a drunken adversary
The colosseum was silent

Two years passed, defeat by five enemies of skill would have been acceptable, defeat by a masterful would bring shame, being pounded by a single drunk without even hitting her was more than any man could bare, after the battle the ponies came to asking what happened, any hope of trying to brush passed that were crushed as they offered a rematch which we declined and unfortunately accepted them as the rulers with no other choice. In the two years the ponies had ruled they dismantled our military, putting us to work on growing and preparing food and wine for the ponies, in that time the size gap between human and pony only grew as the ponies ate near constantly, it didn't take long for me to lose my place as a sentry and becoming a slave to a pony, but I was quickly found to be better than most, getting hand picked for the new Princess of rome's student.
"Servant! I need more food!" Twilight called and I came over to give her more snacks as she sat and read
"Thank you um..." Twilight said
"Ajax!" I said angrily
Twilight's expression changed to surprise to see my outburst, I glared up at her, as she stood at twelve feet tall, on top of a mountain of lard, but I didn't care I was pissed "Before you came I was a revered sentry for the emperor!" I said
"Well things change." Twilight said
"You are cruel. Your champion should have killed me that day in the arena." I said
"And why's that?" Twilight asked inquisitively
"I would have died, with some honor." I said
"How's dying honorable?" Twilight asked
"To die in battle is better than living in servitude." I said
"How? Isn't that the same as giving up? You'd give up and never improve. That doesn't sound honorable that sounds like taking the easy way out." Twilight said
I was quiet for a moment... she made sense and despite hating everything about her I felt she had wisdom on some level as she scarfed down a tub of popcorn I brought to her
