Once you exit the house you are greeted to the sight of: Nothing! Well, nothing interesting at least. Just the normal suburban neighborhood. It was surprisingly empty, but then you look at the time and see it's past 9am, which is when both everyone who works is at work and every student is in class. And everyone who isn't a student or a daytime employee is at home sleeping or doing something else. So that explains why the streets are empty. It also reveals that you are drastically late for class. Oh well, you decide to just make your way to school and skip first class period and go in second class period on time.
On the way, you see the local park. You decide that maybe you can take a detour through it and see what's going on there. You walk in through the gate and admire the greenery of the park and take in the fresh air. It smells just like the street outside, probably because it's not that big of a park and the suburban air isn't that gross to begin with. But other than that, there are still some boring trees and the usual playground. Empty of course since any kid that would be up at this hour would either be at home or at school. There's just a few people walking around the park with you, and they all seem to be keeping to themselves, much to your convenience since you're not interested in any of them.
Still though, you make your way through the park, looking out for anything interesting. That interesting thing will end up running you right in the face, as your extreme vigilance for said thing ended up making you blind to what was right in front of you. And what was right in front of you and on a collision course to your face was...
