You run into Ayano, who looks even paler than usual. "Oh, Ayano, hey!" you say.
"Uuuuh," Ayano says. Huh, she sounds more low energy than usual too.
"Hey, are you okay, you sound kind of- woah!" you look down past Ayano's messy hair and see two massive scars going across her face. Also her eyes are two different colors.
"Wha?" Ayano says lazily.
"Y-your face. What happened to it?" you say without thinking about how rude it sounds.
"Nothin?"
"But you have stitches all across it."
Ayano points to herself. "Zzzooombie," she says slowly and sarcastically.
"W- oh." you remember your wish for monster girls. Apparently Ayano became a zombie, whose body is held together by stitches.
"Sorry. I'm not used to um... seeing zombies I guess."
"Sokay. You know ma name?"
"Oh uh..." You tried to think of something but you found a saving grace. "Your switch has your name on the back."
Ayano flipped the switch in her hands and saw her name was indeed written on it. "Oh."
"I'm Shujin."
"Shhuuujin...we have homeroom together?"
"Oh yeah, I believe so. You're not that talkative."
"You're more lively student. More than me, at least," she says.
You chuckled at her pun. "So uh, what are you playing?" you ask.
"Playing Fortress Knight. It's this game where you play as a knight, but you can build buildings and fortifications that you use to fight off waves of zombies! It's really simplistic at first, but there's a lot of strategy once you learn past the basics," Ayano says, suddenly becoming more coherent.
"A zombie game? Wouldn't figure you'd be into that type of game."
"Zombies are overused monster, but they're okay. Real fun from game though comes from gameplay. So I don't mind."
You're not quite sure she understood your question, but you were still satisfied with the answer. It was good to see that the gamer girl, while slower and noticeably deader, was still as cute as she was before.
