"Err, can we have some time to decide?" Ruby asked, the sin of lust just nodded and disappeared, replaced by a 5 minute countdown timer floating in the air.

"Ugh, at least he gave us privacy" Weiss remarked "So what now?"

"How did we even get here? All I remember is us on the room trying that stuff Yang brought and after that.. I don't remember a thing" Blake said. Ruby and Weiss nodded and glared at Yang.

"H-hey, I swear on my life it was normal alcohol. I wish I remembered something too, this doesn't really make sense. But we don't have much time anyway" Yang tried to appease her teammates and pointed out at the timer that was showing just 4 minutes now.

"So.. we obvioulsy won't give up, so my guess is we should stay together and defeat those demons of lust or whatever one by one, everyone agree?" Ruby shared her thoughts as the team leader and both Weiss and Yang nodded, but Blake seemed to be deep in thought.

"Something wrong, Blake?"

"I think we should split up"

"Why?"

"It's hard to explain, but even if he told us we have our auras with us for this game don't you still feel a little.. strange? I do still feel like something is missing, like I'm empty in some place" Blake confessed, looking down at her chest and doubting herself if whatever she was feeling and finding so hard to describe was related to this, or just her mind making up things.

"Hmm, so this is how it feels not having your soul?" Ruby closed her eyes and tried to concentrate on that strange feeling.

"Now that you mention it, I think I feel it too" Yang agreed.

"Yeah.. but if we can still use our aura and our semblance, it doesn't matter right?" Weiss asked.

"Maybe but.. what if this gets worse? Or if we run out of time?" Blake asked. A small period of silence followed as each girl wondered what this could mean for them.

"Ruby? We don't have much time.. what should we do?" Weiss asked looking at the clock that was marking now just 2 minutes left.

"I um... better not risk it then. Blake's right, let's split up and when we recover our soul if we can we will go back and help the others" Ruby declared and this time everyone agreed.

"There's a problem though" Yang said, looking at the map of the land.

"What problem?"

"We have this map for the game but it only says where a soul is, not which soul it is" Everyone looked and sure enough, there was no sign to distinguish them at all.

"Then what should we do?" Weiss asked.

"I think we just have to take a guess. If we recover someone else's soul it might help them with their fight and finish this quicker" Ruby suggested with a shrugh. Once again everyone nodded in agreement, feeling more optimistic now that they had a plan to tackle this game, whatever it was about.

"The time is up" The sin of lust said solemnly, appearing again out of nowhere "what is your choice?"

"We will split up" Ruby said.

"So be it" the sin of lust snapped his fingers again and a slight rumble surprised the girls as they saw him and the room vanish to reveal an open terrain with four paths leading north, west, east and south.

"That's it? huh.. I expected him to break us up or something" Weiss wondered.

"Okay team, we're here" Yang pointed to the map "each of us should just take a direction I guess.. or we can go back and rejoin if we're in trouble"

Blake nodded and walked towards the north path, suddenly once she crossed a point a wall appeared out of nowhere blocking her way back and shocking everyone.

"Blake!" the three girls shouted with concern and approached the wall.

"Can you hear me?" the rest of the team heard Blake's muffled voice through the solid wall
 

"Yeah, we can! Are you alright?"

"Yes, the wall just appeared behind me. Pick a road and go, remember we shouldn't waste time here" Blake said 

"Got it" Ruby answered and nodding at her teammates, finally everyone split up as intended. Ruby went west, Yang took the east path and Weiss went south, with a wall blocking their way back just like it happened to Blake. Taking her advice, all of them started running down their chosen path hoping to find and beat quickly whatever these demons of lust had prepared for them.
