Clarisse hesitated for a moment before giving a firm answer. She would not back down on this.
"Fine! I'm sorry for calling you old and stuff. But not for disagreeing with you!"
Clarisse's words gave rise to that devilish smirk that Cagliostro was known for, among those who knew the real her anyway. She had always liked the spunk that her great-grand niece had. It was Clarisse's best quality as a student... both as an alchemist and as a brat to dole out punishments onto.
"Is that so?"
Cagliostro snapped her fingers. Ouroboros' ever-encompassing hold around Clarisse loosened as it started to move. The wave of relief that washed over her body was a short-lived one, as the snake familiar tightened around her almost as soon as it had become loose. Her master simply rolled her eyes at that one, getting up before parking her ass on top of Clarisse's snake-covered stomach as if jumping onto a bed. From there, she would lean herself back to close up on her cute apprentice's face, who had just let out an involuntary moan in response to her action.
"Neither is spying. Clarisse, you should be thankful that it's him that's being punished right now and not you. It is your carelessness that led to this in the first place."
"...then you should be punishing me instead of him."
It was this response that finally sparked something that wasn't condescension in her master. It gave a rise to her perfect eyebrows.
"...hooh. Finally claiming responsibility? Or perhaps you just want to spend an extra lesson with your lovely aunt~? Very well, I accept."
Cagliostro...
