Once a passionate preacher, Will grew disillusioned with people after glimpsing their sins over and over again. This gave a rise to two things.

One was taking up the blade, and starting to judge sinners as he seemed fit as an assassin.

The second was an adoration towards monsters, who he has started to consider to be beings of much more pure nature than humans. He has since then become a true scholar on the subject, and continues to catalogue his findings in a personal journal.

To be quite frank... this adoration has become more of an obsession. As it stands, Will is willing to do anything to increase his knowledge and bond with these mistreated creatures... no matter what it takes.
