"It's disrespectful! It's insolence! I won't accept this!"
Her Highness Princess Yvetta di Rancelle's ornate high heels battered the carpet before you, while her words battered your ears. Bowing down proved difficult with the raging tremors from her indignant steps. You could see your reflection in the glimmering jewels that encrusted her footwear: worn, wings drooping to the ground, looking like a tiny wilted flower. Each gemstone was half your height, and twice your life gold savings.
"Have I not given enough for you fairies? Have I not toiled and sweat and law-made for you fae folk? Have I not been the most generous and thoughtful regent to YOU UNGRATEFUL BUZZING INSECTS?"

She hovered her left foot before your face. The ruins of your tiny house were plastered across the sole - carried from back in the glade. Stick walls collapsed into a mess of splinters beneath the weight. A small fluff of cotton around her heel where your bed had been. Your supply of berries for the winter dripped from the toe end to the floor.
You'd felt lucky to have been outside your home when Princess Yvetta had stepped on it by accident. You felt less lucky that Princess Yvetta had proceeded to arrest you; take you with her into this private room within her castle; and that she hadn't gotten any less furious in the time since. Her thick blonde brows furrowed, heart-shaped face pink with her cheeks puffed, blue eyes turned to bloodshot pinpricks.
"The nerve! To construct this hovel in a place where anyone walking by could ruin her shoes by stepping on it! Oh, heaven FORBID a princess get some FRESH AIR ONCE IN A WHILE! No, you've desecrated my midday strolls, one of the few joys I still have!"
That house had stood for five years. From what little you knew of the humans affairs, Yvetta only got coronated as ruler three years ago. Her shoes looked brand new. But you kept that all to yourself. Speaking now seemed like a bad idea.
She wiped the crumpled remains of your poor home off her shoe with an embroidered kerchief; then swiftly dunked it on the floor, and STOMPED on it
"It's an act of rebellion!"
STAMP
"It's an act of treason!"
STAMP
"It's an act of hatred! Why must you hate? WHY DO YOU HATE ME!?"

Her white dress, golden curls, and her tiara high above you bobbed up and down with the energy of her ferocious impacts. Both of her gloved hands clung to her wide hips, while she ground and squeezed her heel, making a mess of the carpet.
Finally, a slow, strained breath, through clenched teeth, before she pulled a mirror out and adjusted a stray hair that had slid onto her wide forehead.
"The PROPER punishment for such a slight would be to prepare your entire town as my dinner. But. I'm simply too kind, too pure for my own good. So you're getting off light. I'll simply give you life imprisonment... Within the hold of DEEPLILY LABYRINTH!"
"Deeplily." As soon as she said that name, she smiled for the first time in your one-sided conversation. She stared wistfully out a window, beaconing you to it. In the distance, you could see the dungeon in question. A strange tower with a wide, concave roof and a narrow base, spirals around it, like a massive drill digging to the core of the cracked earth. The structure was entirely alien and impractical, with a haphazard mix of architectural styles centuries apart. And it seemed to reach far, far deeper underground, judging by bits of stone jutting out from the ground like tree roots.
"I shall watch your exploits with this magic mirror - and with great interest. I may forgive your crimes posthumously if you have an interesting death! OHOHOHOHO!"
With a loud clearing of her throat, she pointed the mirror to you. The shape of your reflection twisted into a horrifying image of a dank, limestone cell. You tried to pull your eyes away, even flap your wings, it pulled you in. Princess Yvetta was using a teleportation spell; one unknown to your fairy community's understanding of magic. Like a whirlpool, it sucked you in -
PLOP
- and within a blink, you were right in the clammy chambers of the infamous Deeplily Labyrinth. Ancient, sturdy stones carved in the walls, with only the most basic amenities. Surrounded by towering shackles, an entrance locked with steel bars, and a simple wood bench. All made with human-sized races in mind, so they towered over a fairy like you...
That's right. Human-sized bars.
With the greatest of ease, you slip through the holes in the cell door. That's your first step towards freedom in these strange environs. Yet, the halls around twist and snake all about, and you're not sure where to go...
First, you need to take inventory and ground yourself. You look down at yourself. You are...
